Yes, there's horror stories that people had experience while at cons with/without weeaboos. Even running into weeaboos outside of conventions like in school/college or somewhere else. Believe me, there's a shit ton of horror stories that you can probably find on YouTube (most likely (YouTubers like vivid barnacle makes videos about that)), Reddit, DeviantArt or Tumblr. Hell, even here on Wattpad.
If you don't don't know what a weeaboo is, well, a weeaboo is a person who think they're Japanese even though they're clearly not Japanese and denied their own nationality (or nationalities, if they're a dual citizen) or/and country, speak in Japanese that's so broken that you swear they're not speaking in English or Japanese, thinks that Japan is the greatest country in the world and thinks that things (like fashion or media) that aren't from the country is terrible or shit. It really gives the anime community a really bad name and reputation with those kinds of people.
People outside of anime community call all anime fans weeaboos without understanding the meaning of the word. Which is ridiculous. And don't forget that same group call anime "hentai" (aka porn). Yeah, they called every single anime (even the ones that's rated G/U/PG i.e. Pokemon or Digimon) porn. I wished I was making that crap up if I tried. They didn't stop and do a simple Google search that hentai is a sub-genre of anime.
