You didn't know what to say. The picture was of (c/n). Ford was going to try and capture it. You didn't want that, so you decided you would have to steer him in the wrong direction. You would offer to help and tell him where to find it but send him the wrong direction. It wasn't the best plan, but if it still kept him from finding (c/n) then it was good enough.

"(Y/n)? Um... something wrong?"
You snap out of your trance.

"Huh? Oh! Yeah yeah. I'm okay. I'll help you."

"GREAT!! Let's go find this thing!"

Ford grabs some supplies and runs out of the room and out of the shack. You follow close behind keeping an eye out for (c/n).

After a few hours of searching you started to get a little bored and tired. You were wandering around the forest for what seemed like mikes with no sign of (c/n). At least he hasn't found anything about it yet.

"Hey, uh, (y/n)? Do you just want to go back to the shack? It is getting really dark. I can just continue without you if you would like...."

"No no. It's fine" you yawn. You are starting to doze off while walking. Ford decided that it would be a good idea to take a little break. You sat down and leaned up against one of the trees. The next thing you knew you had fallen asleep. While you drifted into the peaceful darkness of sleep, you heard Ford talking to Bill. You couldn't make out anything other than (y/n), carry, and home. You felt someone gently pick you up and carry you. You were to tired to see what was happening and ended up falling asleep.

(WOOT WOOT!!! TO THE NEAR FUTURE!!)

You woke slightly and felt the warmth and softness of a blanket. You were curled on a bed. You quickly sat up and your eyes shot open. You looked around to see you were in your room.
"OH SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA!!"
You quickly jumped out of bed and ran down the stairs. Fortunately, Ford wasn't at the shack. You figured that that meant he hadn't found the creature just yet. It was pretty late at night too.

You trotted down the stairs and threw open the fridge. You grabbed some food and made a midnight "snack". You sat down and enjoyed it until Ford walked in soon. He looked exhausted, but didn't seem to have found anything. You sighed in relief and waved to Ford. He smiled but continued walking past you and went down into the basement. You shrugged and decided that you should probably get to bed. You went up stairs and tucked yourself back into bed. Lifting your legs a bit to tuck the blanket under your feet, you quickly fell back asleep. That night you didn't have any dreams. Which wasn't normal since you have always had dreams, but you didn't care. You payed no attention to it.
