You wake up in an area you don't remember going to. It is dark and full of shadows. You keep seeing something move but when you look you can't see anything in the darkness. After a while, your eyes adjusted to the lighting and you could see a little better. You turned in circles cautiously looking for whatever was making noise and moving. There was a low growl behind you and you tensed. You didn't dare turn around. You were too afraid to turn, so you stood there stiff with your eyes wide. It growled more, you closed your eyes and slowly turned around. When you opened your eye all you saw were two giant silver eyes towering over you. You let out a little Yelp as something touches your back. You look behind you and see a... Tail? It is furry with black spikes and black fur. It's tip has a little tuft of blue fur and it leads to the towering eyes. The creature steps out of the shadows and you feel a little better about the situation after seeing what it looked like.

The creature "smiled" and looked at you happily. It was furry and black with silvery eyes and black spikes along its back and tail. It had purple horns on its head and looked kind of like a dragon. You smiled at the look of it. It is large at fist but then it shrinks down to the size of a kitten. Everything stays the same except for its eyes. Now it's eyes seem bigger on his head like a baby cats. It trots over to you and rubs against your legs. Making sure not to scratch you with its spines and horns. You bend down and pet it. It smiles again and you notice that it's smile looks a lot like the Cheshire Cats smile from Alice in Wonderland. You hug it and cry, you don't know why. Then you feel happy and then angry. You look down at the small creature. Turns out it can simulate your emotions and make them stronger or weaker. It hits your leg with its horn and you Yelp in pain. It snuggles up to you and takes away the feeling of pain to show you proof. You look down and your leg still looks normal as well. You hug it and it kicks your face with its tiny tongue. You pet it and it falls asleep in your lap. You close your eyes and wake up in your bed hugging your squirrel. You look at your squirrel a little disappointed that the dream wasn't real. You decided to let your squirrel go and have a family of its own. You open the window and it runs against your face and then runs off. You smile and look at the time. 2:37. Still enough time to go back to bed. You went back to sleep thinking about the creature. It made you so happy and so curious as to if it was real. You could control what you did in the dream and feel pain, was it real. You didn't know and the thinking made your head hurt, so you went back to bed.
