Chapter 32

Ford looks behind the debris and his eyes widen in what you can only assume to be excitement and fear. He quickly takes out a gun from in his jacket and points it at the boy. He starts to laugh. "Finally, I've got you now..." he is about to pull the trigger, but the boy gets to him first. The boys eyes flaring and turning to a dark purple color, then slowly becoming completely black. His teeth growing and becoming fangs. He charges at Ford and tackled him to the ground. He bites Ford's weapon in his jaws and rips it from his hands. You watch in aw as Ford and the boy fight each other. Ford throws punches and attempts to grab weapons from his coat. But the boy was faster and would snarl at him. You noticed wings slowly forming on his back. Slick, large, black leathery wings. He stretches them out and his body slowly changes in front of your eyes. Ford grits his teeth as the boy takes the form or a long, black and scaly body and horns forming on his head. A minute later, you saw (c/n) on top of Ford. Ford has an amazed look on his face. "I KNEW IT!!" He yelled as (c/n) grew larger and larger until it was slightly bigger than Ford. His tail swishing back and fourth as he snarled and growled at Ford. You called to
(c/n). "Wh-WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!" (C/n) looked at you with sorry eyes and you didn't notice that Ford had taken that change to pull out another gun.

(How many guns does he even have?!? Answer: all of the guns)

He quickly aimed for (c/n)'s chest. He pulled the trigger and hit his target, hitting (c/n) with a huge bolt of what looked to be electricity. You yelled 'no' as (c/n) screeched in pain and fell to the ground. He tried to get up but his body was weak and he couldn't gain enough strength. He slowly shrank in size and tried again. He stood for a few second but when he went to take a step, he would trip and fall. You ran towards him and picked him up. His eyes closed tight in pain. Ford placed a hand on your shoulder and reached to take
(c/n) from you. You quickly pulled away.

"NO! Get away!" His grip on your shoulder tightened.

"Give him to me. You don't know what he is capable of. He needs to be contained..."

"NO! LEAVE HIM ALONE!! Leave ME ALONE!!" You shrugged his hand off your shoulder and bolted for the door. Ford chased you and caught up fast, grabbing your arm tightly and pulling you towards him. You held onto (c/n) tightly as Ford turned you around to face him.

"Look, (y/n), he is dangerous. He could kill you!"

You yanked your arm out of his grasp and you sprinted. You pushed off the ground with your feet and bounded up the stairs and out of the shack. You opened the door and ran right into Bill, who was just about to open the door and come into the shack. "Oh! (Y/n)! A-are you alright?! I'm so sorr...." he cut himself off when he saw (c/n). He looked at you sternly. "What are you doing with him?"
"Bill! I need your help! Please!!"

"Woah woah. Slow your roll. What's wrong."

"I need to hide him. Please Bill! You need to help me!!"

"Alright alright." He grabbed your hand and the world swirled around you. The next thing you knew, you were by (c/n)'s cave. You climbed in and put him in the back of the cave. You crawled back out and hugged Bill tightly, thanking him. He patted your head lightly and hugged you back.
"Let's go back to the shack. I have something I want to show you." He smiled kindly at you and you nodded. You walked hand in hand and you finally felt at ease. The feeling from before was gone and you could feel that (c/n) was safe at last. You looked up at Bill and softly spoke.

"Hey Bill? Can you promise me something?" He looked at you confused at first and then shrugged.

"Yeah. Of coarse."

"Promise you won't tell anyone about him?"

"Him who?"

"The creature I was holding..." Bill thought for a second and the nodded.

"Of coarse. Anything for you." You smiled at his last words.

"Thanks Bill. I knew I could trust you." You both got to the shack a while later and walked in. Ford saw you and went to say something, but Bill quickly put up a hand and wagged his finger while shacking his head, as if to say 'no. Just don't. Not right now'.

Ford frowned and spoke anyway. "WHERE IS HE!? Bill!! (Y/n)!! WHAT DID YOU DO WITH HIM!?" Bill looked at Ford angrily.

"I said no Ford. Just shut up."

"I REFUSE!!" Bill sighed and frowned.

"Don't forget what I can do Ford. Keep that in mind." He tapped the side of his head when he said 'in mind'. You grinned at Ford, causing him to grit his teeth and walk back into the basement angrily. Bill shook his head disapprovingly and looked at you and smiled. "Follow me." He took you to the back of the shack and covered your eyes. He counted to three and then took his hands away. In front of you, you saw a small, silvery box sitting on a wooden table in the middle of the back yard. You looked at him confused and he gestured for you to go get it. You walked up to the table and picked up the box, examining it. You looked back at Bill and he told you to go on. You slowly opened the box to reveal a small, shiny bracelet. You smiled at the sight of it and it was beautiful. You examined the diamonds and looked up at Bill. He gleamed and walked up to you, taking it from your hands. He put it around your wrist and you gleamed. "So, what do you think? I made it myself...." you could tell because the diamonds were small triangles and they were, of coarse, yellow diamonds.
"I love it! Thank you Bill!!" You wrapped your arms around his neck and smiled happily. "Come on. It's getting late, let's go inside. It's getting late." You nodded in agreement, and followed him inside. It was already 10:00pm. Everyone had gone to sleep, so you and Bill sat in the couch for a while and watched tv. Bill looked over at you and saw you were obviously tired. He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close. You rested your head on his chest and slowly drifted off to sleep. He was warm and comfortable, you couldn't help but smile as you fell asleep.
