You squinted at the bright white around you, there is almost nothing there. You turn around and the rip in reality is gone. The medallion sitting on the ground. You bent over and picked it up. The moment you made contact with it everything became more of a dark grey. The grey eating away at the white quickly until there is no more. You can see the outlines of the world around you, yet it's almost as if it isn't there at all. You wander around for a bit.
(meanwhile, at the shack)
Dipper's POV
I decided that maybe I should go talk to (y/n). She kinda seemed out of it, like she was focusing on something important. I also noticed that when she says she is going on a walk, she always heads through the same bit of forest. Is there something there that I don't know about? Are they okay? I heard about what happened to her friend, (c/n). I don't quite know what I would ask her when I see her though. I walk outside the back door.
"Hey (y-)" I cut myself off when I see that she isn't there. I could have sworn she was still back here. I saw her out the window a few minutes before. She was just standing there. Bill speaks up from behind me, making me jump. "Hey pinetree." He has a huge grin. Oh boy...
"Bill! Don't do that!" He shrugs in response. I look at him with a stern yet concerned face. "Have you seen (y/n)? I could have sworn she was right here..."
"hmmm. What do you mean?"
"You know exactly what I mean. Quit playing games"
"Alright fine. She was here and then she-" He stops and puts a hand to his chin thinking. "Weird"
"what?"
"I...don't know where she went"
"What do you mean you don't know? You literally see everything"
"I know, that's what's weird. She just kind of disappeared from existence."
"How?" Dipper looks confused. Bill just shrugs.
"Unless...Oh no." He puts a hand up to his face. Dipper looks even more confused.
"I know she goes on walks right? Do you know where in the forest she goes?"
"No. Why would I know that?" Bill just raises an eyebrow at him, silently saying 'you know just as well how'.
Dipper pouts slightly. "I noticed when she goes on walks she always goes through the same two trees. She never walks a different way. She even comes out of the same spot in the edge of the forest. She walks that way usually." He points in the direction of the trees to the right of the shack. Bill looks at him and smiles.
"Thanks pinetree." He flicks his cap and floats off.
Bill's POV
I know where (y/n) has been going on her walks now. I even told them not to go in that part of the forest. I just hope she didn't find the statue. I don't want her to know about that stuff. I continue through the forest until I get to it. It looks in tact and it isn't opened or anything. I sigh in relief as start to head away. Then it hits me. If she disappeared from existence or reality as I know it, she probably was able to open it. I walk over the the statue and open it slowly. I wouldn't be surprised if she was the one who was able to open it. I look inside and see the music box still with the key hole shaped like the medallion, but no medallion. I mumble to myself "Shit...she has it". I look at the music box one more time. It doesn't look like it's been opened just yet, thank goodness. Chances are she will figure out soon enough. I close the statue and sigh, teleporting back to the shack.
(At the shack)
Narrator's POV
Bill looks around for Mabel, thinking that maybe she would know what (y/n) Might be doing. He finds Mabel and floats over to her.
"Hey Shooting star. Have you seen (y/n) recently?"
"Oh, hey Bill. The last time I saw them was when they walked out the back door of the shack. Why? Are they ok?" She seems to get worried.
"I hope they are." Without another word he floats off towards the hidden basement. Possibly looking for something to help him. Mabel just watches and when he leaves she talks under her breath. "Why doesn't he ever answer my questions?" She huffs. There is a small knock on the door followed by a high pitched voice. "Mabel? You home?" Mabel dashes to the door. "Girls!" She greets Candy and Grenda. Grenda speaks up. "You ready for our slumber party mabel?!"
"YEAH!!!" Mabel leaves momentarily and grabs a bag, throwing stuff into it. She then dashes out the door with Candy and Grenda, Bill still looking for a solution.
You turn in circles. Examining every aspect of this weird reality that is before you. You turn the medallion over in your hand multiple times. The back has a weird symbol on it. It looks as if someone squished together the letters g, T, and K. Making a weird angular yet circular shape all at once. Thinking about how it looks makes your head hurt a little and wonder how someone could even create such a symbol. You look around a bit more. You think to yourself 'Man, I wish I knew where I was..' When you finished the thought a sign appeared a few meters away from you. You jump in surprise and slowly walk towards. Caution is in your every step. You read the sign and it has 4 really big words on it. It reads, 'Welcome to the Mindscape'. You read the words over and over, hoping it will help you understand what it is saying. You remember a while ago that Bill mentioned something about it but you never thought this was what it would look like. You remember Dipper and Mabel telling you about a time they were in the mindscape with Bill and how they could do anything they wanted or wish for. Mabel, of course, only liked it because she had kittens for hands. The thought of Mabel's actions made you laugh a little to yourself. You grin, an idea coming to mind. "Boy! I wish I could have the worlds largest (Favorite/food)!" It suddenly came up in front of you. Your eyes widen in excitement. You take a bite and it was delicious. After a few minutes of you basking in it's glory, you heard a small yet sly voice.
"Well well well..."
