Chapter 2

The pink blur grabbed you and tackled you too the ground and you hit your head on the ground with a thud.

"OW!"

You practically screamed with anger and stood up and saw a 12 year old with a huge smile and she had braces and a sweater with a shooting star on it.

"HI MY NAMES MABEL AND I HAVE BRACES AND A PET PIG NAMED WADDLES!!"

She stated quickly and then shoved a pig into your face.

"Sorry, my name's Dipper. You must be (y/n)! Our Grunckle told us you would come!

He stuck his hand out and you shook it hesitantly.

"Uuhhhh, hi?" You stated confused

There was an awkward silence as everyone stood there.

"Here, I'll take you to our room so you can get settled."

He led you into a room with two beds and a air filed mattress in the corner that was made and looked like it was just made. The girl known as Mabel jumped onto her bed and Dipper pointed you to the mattress and said that that was where you would be sleeping for the summer. You smiled and nodded and walked over to the mattress. Dipper hopped onto his bed and picked up a book with a golden, six fingered hand on the front cover with a big three written on the hand.

You stated at it for a bit and when Dipper went to look at you and how you were intently watching the book, as if it was precious, you quickly looked away and started unloading. You placed your bag at the foot of your bed and looked at the time on your phone. Then you noticed there was no wifi OR service.
"Great." you said under your breath. You laid down thinking on your bed as you stared at the ceiling.

What is that book he is reading? It seems like it is calling for me almost. I just want to...grab it.... NO!! It's his, not mine. Uuhhgg! I can't take it. I'm just going to ask him...

No ones view
You sat up slowly and looked at Dipper.

"Hey Dipper? What are you reading?"

"Oh this? It's a journal with all of the weird things in Gravity Falls!"

He started talking to you about the journal and how the author turned out to be a twin of their Grunckle and other things as you listened to him watching him flip through the pages and show you the pictures. Then he flipped the page and went to skip over it but you placed your hand on the book so he couldn't causing him to jump in surprise.

"WAIT!! What is that? It looks like some sort of Dorito!"

Dipper suddenly became worried and closed the book and put it into his best quickly.

"Oh! Don't worry about him!! We haven't seen him in a while and we don't want to!"

He got up and left the room and Mabel chased after him with Waddles following.

"Wait up dipin' sauce!"

You sat there in surprise and decided to take a walk outside and see the forest and think a bit. You wanted to see a few things in gravity falls before you went to bed and you didn't realize that the twins went into the room when you left and didn't realize you left until they heard the door close and you quickly yelled I that you were going on a walk. Alone.

You stepped outside and breathed in the crisp night air. It was a little cold but you forgot to pack sweatshirts so you just wore a long sleeved shirt. You didn't mind the cold.

You slowly walked into the forest with your hands in your pockets and you were enjoying your walk through the forest at night. Everything seemed so peaceful and majestic at night.
