{ The Results }

Patrick's POV

I am so confident that I got the part. I feel that Shonda and Debbie could see all the chemistry that me and Ellen have while acting and even when we are not acting. But I still am a tiny bit nervous. There were a lot of very talented men trying out for the same rule as I was. I'm getting too worked up about it. I just have to get my mind off of the role and Ellen.

I drive home and open the door to my house. Jill is never home anymore so I am very surprised when I see her sitting on the couch. Even when she is home, she is always trying to pick a fight with me so I try to be nice and say hi to her.

"Hey Jill. I'm home and I'm pretty confident that I got the part! They said that the would call me by the end of the night or tomorrow to see if I got it." I say in an excited tone

"Cool" Jill says and doesn't even look up from her phone

"Whatever Jill." I say and just ignore her when she tries to defend herself yet again

I can't take this anymore. Tomorrow I am going to ask her for a divorce...

Ellen's POV

That kiss. Oh my god that kiss. I think I just fell in love with him even more. When the scene is done, I run back off to where nobody can see me and just play it over and over in my head. I hear Shonda say to Patrick that the scene was very good and that she will let him know if he got the part or not.

I hope to God that he gets the part and then we can so we can spend a lot of time together. What am I saying? Omg I need to get ahold of myself I have a husband and he has a wife and no matter how much I want to change that, I know that I can't...

Once I see that Patrick is gone, I come back out to where Shonda and Debbie are sitting and they ask me the same questions as before. I tell them

"I liked him the best so far." I say with a little blush appearing on my face

"Me too." Debbie says

"I thought he was alright but I also thought that Isaiah was okay too." Shonda says

"Maybe we can find a different little part for him to be in and then make Patrick the lead?" I suggest

"That sounds wonderful." Debbie agrees

"Yeah I guess that would be okay" Shonda says

"Okay then its settled. We have all our major parts!" Debbie says with a huge smile on my face

"Okay Ellen you should go home and get some rest. Remember, the table read is a week from today at the same place. Don't be late" Shonda says

"I won't. Thank you Shonda and Debbie have a good week" I say and then walk out of Prospect Studios with a huge smile on my face remembering that Patrick got the role of playing my love interest on National Television

I get into my car and drive the 15 minute distance from the studio to my house. I open the door and my smile immediately fades when I see what is going on in my living room....
