{ The Call }

Ellen's POV

I can't get that man from the park out of my mind! It's been a week and I can't stop thinking about him no matter how hard I try. Ugh. But he probably forgot all about me. Why should I care? He definitely isn't single. With a smile and hair like that? No way!

I have been going to the park at least two times a day just to see if he was there but unfortunately, I haven't seen him once.

In fact, I am at the park right now with Tino. But still no sign of Patrick. I feel my phone start to buzz and the caller ID says 'unknown' I answer my phone.

"Hello this is Ellen"

"Hi Ellen this is Sondra Rimes. I was just calling to see if you were interested in the rule of Meredith Grey for the new TV show that I'm writing?"

"Yes I am. Thank you so much!" I say

"No problem! I sent your script in the main and it should arrive to your house tomorrow. Meet me at Prospect Studios in a week from today around 3 o'clock. Does that should good?" She asks

"Sounds wonderful. Thank you again" I reply

"Bye"

"Bye" I say and hang up the phone.

At least this is another thing to help me get Patrick off my mind even though I don't think that will ever happen...

I wonder how Chris will feel about me getting a part and not asking him about it first? He always gets mad at the littlest and stupidest things. Chris and I are barely speaking and I can tell that the spark that we once had ways burning out fast. I don't know how much more of him I can take. If he has a problem with this, he is either going to have to live with it, or I will leave him.

Patrick's POV

It was been a week. Seven days without seeing Ellen's beautiful face. Jill can tell that I am not myself but I don't care. Our marriage is falling apart and she doesn't want to admit it.

I go running every morning but I never see Ellen. I get my hopes up every morning but I never see her. I try not to get too depressed but it doesn't happen.

One morning, after my run, I get a text from my publicist saying that there is an audition for the rule of a dreamy male doctor. His name is supposedly 'Derek Shepherd'. He asked me if I wanted him to book an audition for me at prospect studios in a week from today to try out for this rule of Derek and I told him

"HELL YEAH"
