{ I Can't Loose You }

Patrick's POV

They get Ellen on to the stretcher and start wheeling her outside into the ambulance. They let me ride with her to the hospital.

Then the medic says that there is something wrong and starts giving her CPR...

I ask them over and over again what's the matter with her but not one of them will answer me. I start crying and I grab Ellen's hand and rub it with my thumb. I keep telling myself that she is going to be okay and nothing is going to happen to her.

I kiss her head and continue crying. Once I see the medics stop, I scream

"WHY DID YOU STOP?! YOU CAN'T LET HER DIE! I LOVE HER!"

They look at me and then say

"She is okay. Her heart stopped and we just had to get it pumping again and I did in fact start pumping again. Please sit down and calm yourself. We will get to the hospital soon."

I nod my head and do what I am told. I keep Ellen's hand in mine and try to be as calm as I can in a situation like this.

I can't loose her. She is the love of my life and means absolutely everything to me. I have no idea how I could go on if she would die. But she won't because she is my everything and she is a fighter and I'm going to do every in my power to make sure that the doctors don't stop until she is okay.

After a few minutes of riding in the ambulance, we arrive at the hospital. The Medics open the door to the ambulance and I jump out first. They hurry up and get Ellen out of the ambulance making sure not to hurt her. They wheel her into the ER and I am running behind them making sure that I keep up and I am not taking my eyes off of her.

They examine her in the ER and they tell me that they have to take her up to surgery to take out the bullet. They say that they will update me frequently and let me know when they are done. I shake my head and find a seat in the waiting room.

While I am sitting there, I think about my life. Once I met Ellen, everything changed. I felt like that I had a reason to live and be happy. I have never felt this way about anyone before. She is the love of my life and I can't loose her.
