{ Dinner }

Ellen's POV

I walk over to Patrick once I am done getting my regular clothes on. I give him a smile, grab onto his arm, and we begin to walk towards his car so we can drive to this restaurant. Patrick hasn't told me where we are going yet so I wasn't sure how to dress. Lucky, we are both dressed in a similar way so I think that I will be okay.

We get into Patrick's car and start driving. We make small talk but he still won't tell me where we are going. After a lot of begging, he finally says

"I can't tell you where we are going because we are here." He says with a smirk

"Oh." I say with a giggle.

Patrick comes on my side of the car to open the door to let me out.

"Awh thanks Paddy!" I say

"No problem Ellie." He replies back with a smile

We walk not hand in hand but close enough together that people wont think that we are dating or anything. And that can't happen. People can't think that we are dating because we both just went through divorces and our new show will be airing soon.

When we get into the restaurant, Patrick says

"Reservation for Dempsey." He looks at me after he says that with a smirk. I just smirk back

"Right this way sir." The waiter says

The waiter leads us to a table around the back of the restaurant and gives us both menus and walks away.

"Wow Patrick. This place is so fancy. Thank you so much for bringing me here."

"No problem! Anything for my Ellie." He says

I look down and blush.

Before he can say anything else, the waiter comes and asks what we would like to drink and if we were ready to order.

I order a water and so does Patrick but he orders us a bottle of wine to go with it.

We both order spaghetti and it comes out minutes later. We have a half a glass of wine each because we have filming everyday this week and we have to be sober.

After dinner

"Again Patrick thank you so much for dinner. You didn't have to buy mine I could have paid."

"No problem El! I would love to do this again. That would be payment enough. Getting to see your face."

Then I hear him mutter under his breath

"Fuck did I say that out loud"

"Yes Paddy you did but it's okay." I say with a tiny giggle.

We get back in the car and Patrick starts driving to my house. When we  are almost there, I speak up

"Thank you again Patty. I love spending time with you."

"It's not a problem Ellie. I love spending time with you too."

When we get to my house, I take my seatbelt off and say to him

"Text me whenever you want to do this again. I am always free apart from filming."

"Will do. And same here."

"Bye Patty." I say

I open my door just ready to get out of the car and turn back. I look at him, give him a peck on the cheek and get out the car and walk to my house with a smile on my face.

A smile that will never fade as long as I am near him
