Ellen's POV

We kiss again and then hug for a very long time. I can't believe that this day is finally here! I have been waiting for so long for Patrick to tell me this and this dream is finally coming true!! After we hug, I pull away ask ask

"What does this mean?"

"Well El, this could mean one of two things. One, we start dating and start to learn more about one another and take things to the next step, or two, we could just forget this ever happened and go back to being best friends. I will respect whatever decision you make El." He replies with a smile

"I would like to choose choice number one." I say with a smile

"That is the best thing I have ever heard in my life." He says with a single tear run down is face.

I wipe the tear away letting one slide down my face. I can't believe this is really happening. I love him so much and he loves me back. I really hope that our relationship will work out because I know he will treat me like I deserve to be treated unlike how Chris treated me. I know he would never hurt me and I would never hurt him.

After we are done shedding some tears, he asks me

"Hey El, do you want to come out and tell the world or our friends or do you just want to keep us a secret?" He asks sweetly

"Well paddy do you mind if we just keep it to ourselves until we see if we work? We can tell everyone in a couple months but I just want to wait and see if that's okay with you." I reply hoping that it's okay with Paddy

"Sure Ellie whatever you want." He replies with a smile

I lean in just when he does and kiss his soft lips. Sparks are still going off inside my body even though we have kissed before. But this kiss is different. It's not Derek and Meredith on a show called greys anatomy just acting. This is Ellen and Patrick actually loving each other for hopefully every day for the rest of our lives.

Once we pull away for air, he stares into my eyes and I just stare back at his. I can tell that these years that we will be together are going to be the best that I have ever experienced and I just hope that nobody will get in the way of that.
