"What the fuck!!" I yelled into the dark. I couldn't see anything but I knew someone jumped on me. "Did you really just do that? What if he has herpes??" Mark turned on the light while sitting on my lower back. I hate it when he does this! "Mark get off of me. And I'm 18 I have the right to make my own decisions." "Dad told ME to take care of you and watch out for you. Not the other way around!" He said finally realizing his weight. "Mark listen... it was just a kiss! Nothing more!" I said standing up trying to calm down. Mark is always so overprotective over me. "Ok! Jeez your right. Your going to be 19 soon and I shouldn't have overreacted like that." He said pulling me into a hug. I hesitated for a second before hugging my stupid brother. "Thanks bro." I appreciated him noticing how wrong he was. Just when a comfortable silence took over the room Mark ruined the brother sister moment. "I mean if you want herpes then keep up the good work 'speedy'." He then ran upstairs and I chased him to his room. He locked the door before I could get my hands on him. That snake! I decided to go to the kitchen and get a fruit by the foot. When I made it back to my room I took out my camera and hooked it up to my laptop. I scrolled through all the pictures of me, mark, and dad. It was 10:00pm and I had been through every picture. I felt disgusting from today. I don't know why, I just did. I hopped in the shower and washed my hair. While I was in the shower I noticed there was white hairs everywhere. SNOW! I need to feed her. I Finished my shower and looked everywhere for her but I couldn't find her. I called her name a thousand times til I heard weird sounds and shuffling coming from Mark's room. "Who's the cute puppy. You are, you are!!" I opened the door to see mark on the floor rubbing Snows belly. This was... adorable? "Oh Riv! Ugh how many times have I told you to keep this mut out of my room?" He said acting as if he didn't love Snow. "Save it! I seen everything and so did she" I said laughing. "Fine. The dog is cute. She just has these innocent eyes that practically get me." He described. "Ok...um did you feed her?" "Yeah like 10 minutes ago." "ok well I'm going to bed, she can stay in here tonight." I said leaving his room. My brother is a weirdo but I love him though. When I got to my room I turned my lamp off and as soon as my head hit the pillow, I heard tapping coming from my window. 'What the hell?' I thought. I got up trying to find the source of the sound. 'tap...tap. tap... taptap' the sound got louder. It was coming from my window. I went to open the window and looked out only to get hit in the cheek with a small pebble. "Ow.. who's there?" I whisper yelled into the night. "Sorry speedy! Did I wake you?" Collin's voice boomed through the backyard. "Collin? why are you in my backyard? And no I was just going to bed." I replied. "Sorry to bother you, I mean..I can go?" He said walking backwards. I didn't want him to go, obviously. "No! Go to the front door!" While walking down the hall I heard snoring. Wow mark does not play when it comes to sleeping. I tippy toed downstairs to the front door and opened it. There stood my angel. Am I being weird right now? He wasn't really mine yet, but it felt so right to think of him like that. "Hey speedy." He said smirking at me. He wore some blue plaid pajama pants and a while long sleeve shirt. I let him in. "Hey. What are you doing here at this time of night?" I asked smiling. "I had to see you again." He said pulling me closer to him by my T-shirt. "Oh. But we just seen each other 2 hours ago." I reminded him. "I know..but that kiss, god it felt like magic. I thought maybe I could get another one?" He said leaning in. "No!" I said pulling away. He looked at me with confusion in his eyes. "At least not down here let's go to my room." I giggle. We then tip toed back upstairs. When we got in my room I locked the door and turned to be kissed heavily on my lips. I kissed back of course. We made out for what seemed like 5 minutes. I didn't want things to go too far, especially when my brother was in the room next to mine. We finally pulled apart. He spoke up. "Wow." Was all he said. "Yeah" I blushed. "Um you don't mind if I stay here tonight right?" "Of course not! But I don't want you to sleep on the floor I know it's not comfortable." I assure him. "Who says I'm sleeping on the floor? I wanna sleep in your arms tonight." He said tracing his finger along my arm. I couldn't say anything I was in shock. This has never happened like this before. I mean with Alex but that was all a lie. This felt genuine. "Um. Ok." He then grabbed my hands and led me to the bed. We lied down on our backs, staring at the ceiling. "So uh... do you wanna be-- uh" he couldn't get his words out for some reason. I just kissed him. He was so nice and sweet and I believe I knew what he was going to ask me. We pulled apart. "Girlfriend?" He finished. "I thought you would never ask." I say hugging him.
