Collin's pov *Monday*
I woke up early this morning because I have to hit the books. Everything has been crazy since the formal, the fight, the accident. I just can't get a break. I look at my phone to see that it's 7:00 I head to River's car to see she's already out there. "Hey Riv." I said trying to snap her out of her thoughts. "oh. Hey. Need to study?" She asked. "Yeahhh." I say dragging my response. "Get in." I got in the car and it was quite chilly. She turned the heater on and drive ought toward the school. It was something off about her today that I may not have noticed yesterday when I left her house. "River?" I call her name softly.
Rivers pov
He called my name to get my attention. "Yeah?" I asked trying not to let him see through me. "Are you okay? You seem a bit off." "Yeah of course I'm fine." I lied. Okay here's the rundown on what happened yesterday. we left the hospital on Saturday, because we couldn't see Benson. Since me and Collin had that small argument, I decided to spend my Sunday alone. He came over in the evening and checked on me then he left again. I thought maybe I should take a shower to wash away my stress. I get in the shower and when I got out I heard knocking on the door. I decided to put my robe on and go see who it was. When I looked through the peep hole I seen someone I did not want to see. I dialed my brother but he wouldn't answer. I dialed Casey but then i remembered he was spending the day with Terri. I most definitely didn't want Collin to come because he'd probably do something crazy. I did what I wouldn't normally do. I opened the door a crack. "Go away. I have 911 on the phone." I warned him. "Aww River calm down. I only came to apologize." Alex said trying to push the door. "Go the fuck away!" I yelled the second time. "Jeez I'll be on my way. I hope you could forgive me kitten." He said walking away. "Don't ever come back you ass hole!" I say before shutting the door and locking it along with all the Windows my house. I can't take any chances after I just opened the door for the devil. Back to the convo. "You know you can tell me anything. Ok?" He assured me. We got to the school and headed for the library. When we got in we parted ways to find the books we need. I needed a book that has to do with psychology, so I can pass my psychology test on Wednesday. When I found the book I went to the study tables on the left side of the library where the laptops were. Not long after I took my note book out Collin sat across from me. I noticed he had a book on spiders. I shivered at the sight of the fury beast on the cover. "What's wrong? Not a big fan of arachnids?" He said sounding too smart for his own good. "Well I'm not a big fan of hexapods either" we laughed out loud at our ice breaking conversation. The librarian glared at us with her beady eyes and gray hair. "Sssshhhh." She said before returning to her books. We decided to talk lower. "Hey. I'm glad we're back to normal." He said winking at me. "Who said we were back to normal?" I say. He looked down throwing his smile away. "We never changed." I said smiling big as hell. "Oh my god River in so sorry! I shouldn't have said what i said. I didn't intentionally say that." He said coming to my side of the table. "No Collin. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gotten so cold with you. I can't go on with the tension." I informed him. He the kissed me and caressed my cheek gently. "Ow!" I said pulling away. "What happened? Did I hurt you babe?" He asked making me blush. "No it's just my tooth. I have to get my wisdom tooth taken out on Friday." "Do you want me to come with you?" He asked. "Ew no! Their gonna gas me up and I don't want you to see me drool all over the place." I said looking at him like he's crazy. "Babe I don't care. I want to go with you. Be there for you." He said holding my hand and kissing it. "I don't know..." he hit me with his puppy dog eyes. Ok why is he so cute? "Fine Collin. You can come. But your driving." I give in. "Yes!" He cheered out. "Ok that's it! You two need to leave. Come back when you have respect for other readers in the library." The librarian said whisper shouting. "Yes mam" we say in sync before leaving. It was time to head to history class. I stopped at my locker and when I opened it, a letter feel out. It read: "hey ocean meet me at the patio during lunch and come alone. I have something I need to tell you. XOXO Lucy." Oh hell naw there is no way I'm going to meet that bitch. When i was going to throw it away I noticed more writing in the back. "If you decide not to show. I'll tell Collin all about Alex's little visit." I read it horrifically. She can't do this! Every time I try to stay away from drama, it always finds me again! I threw the note away and headed to Mrs. Perringtons class before the bell rang. What dose Lucy have up her sleeve? Shes so gorgeous but so evil. When I first met her I thought she would be super nice but I guess I was wrong. If only she wasn't so evil we could be friends. Looks are deceiving as fuck!
