Rivers pov *Friday*

my phone reads: 8:14, Friday. 22 missed calls from Collin. 13 unread messages from babe. 2 missed face times.

uggghhh he is making it so hard for me to ignore him. We still haven't talked since Monday and it pains me. I have to go to the orthodontist to get my wisdom teeth out, but i don't know how i'm going to get home without crashing my car. Mark has to go to work at 8:30 and coincidentally i leave at that time. i could ask Terrise to take me but i would be taking her out of an exam. what the hell am i gonna do? i looked at my phone again and seen Collins name and thought, why not? i mean, she said she wanted me to break up with him, not don't be friends with him! and plus he already said he wanted to come anyway. i ringed Collin but he didn't answer. I ringed again but still no answer. I went to the kitchen and 2 minutes later i heard knocking. "who is it?" i yelled throughout my empty house. "you called!" I heard Collin say out of breath. did he take off of school? i opened the door and let him in. "hey." he said trying to catch his breath. "hey.'' i replied. "so...you want to talk?" "um...yes actually." there was a long pause until i finished my sentence. "i...i can't....i can't drive home from the orthodontist and i was wondering if you were still up to take me." i blushed and played with my fingers. "oh..yeah that's probably why i took off school today smart one." he said sitting on my couch. "oh thank you for remembering." i sighed in relief.

Collins pov

Oh i totally forgot! i actually stayed home because i was depressed and i missed the fuck out of her, but she doesn't know that now does she? "no problem" i replied. "we leave at 8:30. I'm gonna go get dressed." she said before jogging up the stairs. i looked at my phone and seen that it was 8:20 and went to her kitchen to grab a waffle.

Rivers pov

i went upstairs and sang in the shower for at least 7 minutes. Then i picked out my pink thrasher sweater, my black leggings and a pair of white Adidas. I then threw my hair in a pony tail and raced down the stairs. when i made it down, i seen Collin eating a waffle as a child would when they're being forced to sit still. "you ready?" i asked trying to hide my smile. "yeah." he replied throwing away his trash and grabbing my keys. i locked my door and we got in my car. "hey Riv. Can i ask you something?" "yeah go ahead." i said letting my seat back resting my legs on the dashboard. "are we having problems right now? you know, concerning our relationship? i feel as if you've gone distant on me." when he said that i thought back to what Lucifer said "if you don't i'll make sure you'll never see him again. Literally." her voice drowned in my thoughts making me grow aggravated. i don't think i can do this any longer, but Lucy would ruin my life physically and mentally if i tell him. is he really worth my social life. meh. what social life? here goes nothing. "Collin there's something I've got to tell you." "what is it?" "Lucy tried to make me break up with you so she could have you but i just couldn't bring myself to do it." "what? why would you even consider--" "no, i didn't consider anything i just didn't want you to get hurt." i said with my salty tears staining my new sweater. "River. why didn't you tell me sooner instead of blowing up at me on Monday?" "i wanted her to see us arguing so she would think it was over. I'm so so so sorry!" i said drying my tears looking at him while he looked forward. "it's okay River. really. it's fine, i just wish there was a way we could get back at her." he said bringing me in for a hug. "you? i would do anything to get back at her." i mumble into his chest. all of the sudden he stopped rubbing circles on my back and sat me up to face him. "River i need you to trust me okay?" "wha--" "okay?" "okay. but what are you saying?" "we're going to get revenge on Lucy." "how?" "with a little show." "i'll tell you tonight when the gas wheres off from your surgery." he smiled and kissed my cheek and by the time he drove off it was 8:32.

*10 minutes later*

we arrived at the orthodontist on time. we got out of the car and linked hands. i wont lie, it felt good to have him back by my side. we walked in and i gave the lady at the front desk my name. "River Jones. wisdom teeth removal." i said tightening my grip on his hand. "oh yes ms.Jones. Go on in the room on your first right and doctor sivolio will be with you in a minute."she said with a warm smile on her face. "thanks" i said as she handed me a clip board to fill out while i was in the room. we went to the room and i sat down on the reclining patient seat and filled out the forms, while Collin took the seat to the left of me. "you nervous?" he asked. "me? pffft nooo!" i replied obviously nervous. "be chill Riv you have nothing to worry about." he assured me. i sighed and put the clip board down on the table to my right. after 5 minutes of waiting a young doctor walked in, he looked Korean and had nice dimples. "hello you must be ms.Jones, i'm doctor sivolio and i will take good care of you." he said smiling. "yes um this is my friend, Collin." i said star struck by his whit smile. "boyfriend! i'm her boyfriend." Collin said cutting me off. "yes, nice to meet you Collin." he said as he took a seat in his rolling chair. a bunch of other nurses came in the room and stood around my chair. "hello. my name is Shelly and i'm here to gas you." a blonde lady said as she hooked up the tank. i could here Collin snickering in the background. i tried not to laugh, i wanted to be professional. the next thing i know she put a mask over my nose and mouth. "count backwards from 100 and it will all be over." she said boosting my seat up, taking me by surprise. "okay. one hundred, ninety nine, ninety eight, ninety seven, ninety six, ninety foot, ninety spaghetti, thirty socks..." i then notice the room got dark and i was out of it.
