Me and Collin have to follow through on operation: Make people see Lucy for who she really is stunt. We call it a stunt because we're not really gonna expose her. That is if she doesn't agree to our terms. If anything it's harmless blackmailing. I feel like i'm no better than Lucy at this point. I almost feel guilty about doing this. Then again, Is this how Lucy lives knowing that she is about to ruin someones life? oh well. My thoughts were rudely interrupted by the lunch lady, Mrs. Schneider speaking in monotone. "Potatoes or corn?" she said looking depressed. "potatoes?" I took my tray after she slang a huge lump of runny potatoes on it. I made my way to the table where all my friends sat. "River, be honest. Do I look less masculine in a wheelchair?" Benson asked. I sat down. "of course not Ben. Who gave you that idea?" "My less masculine twin brother." He looked to Conner. Conner sighed. "I told you I didn't mean it like that." Here we go. "Oh yeah? then what did you mean?" "I told you what I meant you big slug. I only said, and i quote. you look less intimidating in a wheelchair, it suits you. If anything that was a compliment." as they disagreed with each other I zoned out and noticed that Collin wasn't around. He did great at his audition earlier. And like magic right after I said that I seen Collin jogging over to the table. It looked like he was at the computer geeks table. Don't worry they love the computer geeks title. He sat down across from me with a devious smile. "Hey I have the icing, all we have to do is put it on the cake." He said getting questionable glares from everyone at our table. "Cake? we're eating cake?" an overly excited Terrise asked. "No. I was speaking in code." Collin confirmed. "So what do you mean?" I asked seriously confused and kinda disappointed that there was no cake. He leaned over the table to whisper in my ear. "I have the flash drive." he showed me the red flash drive on his key chain. "Great now all we have to do is get her alone, and follow through on operation:...." I said out loud and then stopping myself, I remembered that I didn't tell anyone about me and Collin's plan, If i'd told Terrise she would give me a long lecture on how bad of an idea it is and talk me out of it. I'm keeping it a secret from everyone until it's done. It's only fair. "operation: uh 630 kills on black ops 3." I hesitated for a second then recovered. "Nerds." Casey said causing all of us to laugh. "Collin I need to talk to you by that uh conveniently placed soda machine." I said awkwardly standing up and walking away. "Oh uh right." He said then followed in pursuit. "What's up you didn't tell them anything?" He asked while getting a soda out of the machine. "No. I didn't want Terrise talking me out of it, and it wouldn't be fair if I told everyone else and not her." "Oh yeah you're right. So when do you want to do this I mean I can go it alone if your not up for it." Collin offered sweetly. "No she hurt the both of us, so she has to deal with both of us." I said getting a soda. "Okay so free period or something?" I don't know if I want to spend free period doing evil deeds, I have to study and make room for my daily nap. "No. We'll do it after school. cheer leading tryouts." I responded with disgust. I hate cheer leaders. They are literally so irrelevant all they do is jump around in stupid cute short skirts and their perfect long legs and dumb ponytails. Never Will I be a cheer leader. "So you want to try out for cheer River?" Lucy must have over heard me say something about cheer tryouts. Of course she did. I did speak kinda loud at that part. I now have to follow through. excuse me while I mentally stab myself. "Whats it to you Lucy?" I asked. "Oh hey Collin didn't see you there." she winked. That bitch! she totally ignored me! "Hey loosey." Collin said receiving an laugh from me. She looked at me with confusion and walked up to him. "I heard you were on the market again. You know if you wanna come by cheer tryouts after school, I will be there. Judging." nothing this girl says makes sense. "Sure I'll go. Just for you Loosey." OMG he said it again? I love this guy. "I know you will. See you at tryouts leaky roof." she skipped away. "I can't believe her. She thinks I'm going to tryout to be a motor mouthed pep clone? tryouts? more like try again." I said opening my soda and taking a gulp. "Can't wait to see you in that short skirt Riv." Collin said winking and walking back to the table. I spit out the soda in shock. I really have to do it? No way. It's not like I cant' just walk in the gym and do what I gotta do. "Attention all ladies trying out for cheer. If you are a girl and.. you're trying out for cheer.. We meet in the Gym after school. You must have your uniform on to get in. I repeat you must have your uniform ON to get in. Leave your cellulite at the door bitches." Lucy's friend Miranda said while standing on top of a table with an annoying megaphone. Well i'm in deep. She went on about where to get the uniform and such. I retreat back to the table. "Hey River you wanna grab a slice at my place with Ben, Conner and I?" Terri asked eating her fries. "Uh you see I can't. Not after school." I said drinking my soda. "Oh? got something planned?" "Yeah..uh... I'm actually trying out for......Cheer" The table got quiet and everyone but me and Collin laughed. "Yeah right. Good one. What are you really doing?" "I'm serious." I put on a straight face. "Wait. you mean to tell me, you want to be what you've called a 'Motor mouthed pep clone? with Her?" she pointed to Lucy doing toe touches in her extremely short skirt. Jesus I wish I had legs like hers. "Hello! earth to River." she snapped me out of my jealous thoughts. "I kinda have to do it. Mark and I made a bet. I'd rather not go into details." I lied. The bell rang and I remembered I have to go get my Uniform from Coach Raiders office. "I'll catch you guys later." I then took off thinking, how could this day get any worse?
