Formal is the new casual pt.1

Collin's pov *Friday*
"You are such an addict!" I said punching Conner in the shoulder. All this kid does is read. "What? I know for sure your in no place to call me that. All you've done this week was play games and suck rivers face." "At least I have a face to suck, nerd" I shot back. I was on my way to 5th period, gym. I couldn't help but to think about later on today, the formal. I already planned every thing to be perfect for me and River. I rented a limo, my mom helped me pick out a nice tux, and I got her a red rose. She is going love this! Me and Conner became good friends through terrise secretly dating Benson, Conners twin brother. He's very chill but he has that Sheldon Cooper personality. The guy knows everything from physics to calculus. We walked in the boys locker room and changed our clothes. When we finished getting changed we walked out and grabbed a ball.
Rivers pov
"Girl he is so perfect for you!" Terri said shoving me playfully. "I know he is. I'm just not used to these dances. Remember last year? All I did was plan the damn thing, dress up, and stand on the wall the whole night." I said pulling my psychology books out of my bag preparing for the lesson. "Well this year your a senior. you will plan the formal AND have a hot date to grind on!" I swear my best friend is too PG. But she's right. I'll be dancing the night away with my date and plan the most perfect night ever. I have my dress picked out, I got some cute but comfy shoes, and I go home early today so I can get me and terrise's hair done. Today just might be the most chill day of my life. It was 1:49 me and terrise signed the early leave sheet and left to curlies hair salon to get our hair done for tonight. When we got there we mainly talked about our dates and if we were matching. "Me and Benson are wearing baby blue." Terri said blushing like a fresh cheery. "I picked out a royal blue dress and he's not telling me what type of suit he's wearing though we will be matching as well." I say wandering what he has up his sleeve...maybe a bow tie would be casual but this is a formal, so a neck tie would be sexy on him. "Girl you two are just too cute" Barbra, our hair stylist said snapping me out of my thoughts. "Oh stop it Barbra. Hey by the way since we're on topic how about you tell us the story of when you went to your first formal?" Terri questions barb. "Oh I'm far too old to remember that honey" barb said laughing her heavy latina laugh. We talked up until it was time to get our nails done. I got a text from Collin.
Babe: hey.
Me: hey Collin what's up?
Babe: nothing much just wanted to see how my girlfriend was doing.
Me: oh well I'm sure she's doing fine 😂
Babe: great well tell her I love her and I can't wait to see her later.😉
Me: will do😍
I ended the conversation and leaned over to see how Terri was getting her nails. They were white with little decorative roses on them. Mines were matte black with white bows. After 6 long needed hours we were finished and we parted ways to get ready. I made it home at 6:00. I had a hour to get done. I got dressed, put on my heels and did my make up. When I finished it was 6:30. All I had to do was wait for my prince charming to arrive. I went in the kitchen and decided to make me a waffle. When I finished the waffle it was 6:40. I seen bright lights pull up and I look outside to see a fancy limo in front of my house. I got excited and ran outside to greet my boyfriend and my friends. When I made it out the door I seen Collin standing there in a royal blue tux that hugged his figure in a sexy way. He looked handsome and I'm gonna be the one linking arms with him at the formal. "Wow" Collin said looking me up and down in amazement. I would see why because I don't usually dress up so nice for these things but he just brought another part of me out this past week. And I was loving it. I seen Benson and terrise standing next to each other holding hands. They cute. Mark finally decided to come out of the house out of breath holding two cameras, one of them mine and the other his. "No one is leaving until I get pictures of you would kids." Mark said embarrassing me. We all stood in front of the limo and took pictures. Even Conner and Casey popped out of the sunroof to join us. "Say B2S formal everyone!" Conner and Casey say in sync. "B2S FORMAL!" we all shouted. After mark took like 100 photos of us we got in the limo and started for the school.
