Fractured Fundamentals

sleep is important.

Me and Collin waited up for 11:30 to hit because that's when we get the email from the school. It was now 11:27 and im pretty excited. I looked over to Collin who was playing a game on his phone. "Almost time!" I say excitedly as I open my laptop. Collin then got up and say next to me on my bed. It was time. I refresh my email and seen that the school sent the email on time. I read it out loud skipping the boring stuff. "Blah blah blah 50 bucks, blah blah blah, weeks time, HOLY MACARONI we're going to Disney land?!?!" I yelled. "Disneyland? I've never been there." Collin said unbothered. "Are you out of your mind?! Why aren't you excited especially since you've never been?" I asked confused. "I don't know. I guess when I hear the word Disney I just go blank." He said kissing my head and standing up. I wonder what he means by that... "Well we have to take our money to school tomorrow. Do you want to stay over?" I ask sweetly. "I guess but let me call my mom first." He said walking out of my room. When he closed the door behind him, I scrambled to my pajama drawer. I wanted to wear something cute for some reason. I slid off my joggers and traded them for my tights and threw on my sweater with the eyelashes on it. I still had time to spare so I just lied down on my bed and started reading a book on wattpad. At least two minutes go by and Collin came back. "My mom said whatever. I'm just gonna go grab my bag from downstairs." He then left to go get his bag. That gave me time to put some perfume behind my ears. I know it sounds weird but it's worked out for me before. When I get back in bed I hear him coming up the stairs and I just smile. I have no idea why but i just smiled. Could i really be that head over hills for this guy? "I'm back. Miss me?" He said coming in and closing the door. "Something like that." I reply trying to sound coy. He lied down next to me and engulfed me in a big hug. "Mm. You smell good." He complemented me. I knew this would work. "Thanks." I try to hide my smile. Seconds after that I feel an overwhelmingly wave of sleep take over my eyes. "Sleepy?" He asked. I just nod my head and close my eyes. I made such an effort just to go to sleep? I am now disappointed in myself. Last I remember saying was good night Collin. I'll see you tomorrow.

Collins pov

When she started dozing off she said something really weird. Something along the lines of 'good fight Collin. I'll feed you tomorrow.' Which is weird because I'm not even hungry. I just take that as a sign that this girl means business when it comes to sleeping. I pull a strand of her hair out of her face and tuck it behind her ear. I wish I knew what she was dreaming about. I remember falling asleep after carefully studying every detail on her sleeping face. She is so adorable when she's sleeping.

I'm sorry this chapter is so short. I have no excuse except for the fact that I'm tired and i just had a few ideas so i thought that I'd type them in and edit tomorrow. but I guess this is alright for now.
