Rivers pov
I woke up to my phone vibrating like crazy. What the hell it's literally 4:00am. I look at my phone and seen that I have 34 missed calls from Casey. Why would he call me that many times in the AM? I called him back and he sounded frantic. "Oh thank God River I've been calling you for years! You have to come to the hospital this is bad. Really bad." He said talking really fast! " what? Wait? What the hell happened why are you at the hospital?" I ask hopping up throwing on my sweater. "It's Terri I found her outside her house on the ground crying and she just blacked out on me. I'll tell you the rest in person." He said hanging up. I searched the whole room for at least a sock and just threw on my old sandals. "Collin wake up. We have to go." I yelled. "Hm? Huh. River what's going on?" He said sleepily sitting up. "We need to get to the hospital somethings wrong with Terri!" I started to cry. Hard. "Whoa babe calm down. Come on I'll drive." I gave him the keys and we left the house. It was minutes before we left, when I noticed Collin was shirtless. We pulled up to the hospital and i reached in the backseat to grab my NYU sweater. "Here." I say passing it to him. He looked down and sighed. When he put it on we ran into the hospital and seen Casey pacing back and forth in a waiting room. "Casey! What happened? Where is she?" I asked worryingly. "I stayed at her house after we left and I fell asleep on her. The next thing I knew I heard a crashing sound outside and I heard her scream. I ran out and found her on the ground." "Why did she scream?" I ask horrified of his answer. "It's Benson... He crashed outside her house." Casey said looking down. "What?!? Is he okay?" Collin yelled really loud. "They rushed him to the ER before I could question them. I was really focused on Terri." Casey said tearing up. I just hugged Casey. He was a loyal friend and it made me happy to call him my Bestie. "Can we see them anytime soon?" Collin asked trying to calm down. "We can see Terri in 5 minutes, she just wanted to be alone. But as for Benson, we might have to go get coffee and come back." He said hinting that couldn't see Benson for a while. "God I can't help but think this is all my fault!" Casey said tilting his head back, balling his fists up. "It's not your fault Casey, it's no one's fault." I assure him, giving him another hug. Collin went and sat down in a seat with his elbows rested on his knees, head in hands. I walked over to sit next to him. "Collin? Are you okay?" I ask. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm gonna go get a water. Want one?" He asked standing up with his hands in his pockets. "No. I'm okay. I can come with you if you want." I offered. "No! You stay here just in case Terri feels up to talk to anyone. She needs you." He kissed my forehead and left down the hall. Why do I feel like shit? Five minutes later... "Terrise fields is open for visitation now. Maximum count of entry is 3." A old lady with a generous smile informed me and Casey. We went to the room and when I seen her in the bed hooked up to a IV I almost lost it. "Oh my god babe what happened." I cried as a ran to hug her. "Oh Riv it was terrible! I can't believe this happened. Did you get to see him yet? Is he okay?" Terri asked hugging me back. "Benson should be fine and we can't see him for a while." I let her know. "Oh. Okay." She said looking down. "Girl how did all this happen?" I questioned her. "He called to apologize and I invited him over. But when I went outside I seen him sprawled out on the ground and--" she started choking on her words. I Pat her back to assure her it was okay to cry. You can't cry enough after a loved one is hurt. "Shhhh. It's okay don't talk about it right now." I kissed her head and Casey stepped out for a breather. "Can you sing to me Riv?" She asked. Anytime she was hurt or just upset she would ask me to sing to her. I didn't want to let her down because I honestly didn't feel like singing, I felt like crying. About everything and how things were falling apart just as soon as I thought things would get better. I decided to sing to my best friend lyrics from a song she knows all too well. "My eyes are open wide and by the way I'm leaving out today. I watch the world outside and by the way I made it through the day. I just say Haley's comet she waved. Said why you always running in place. Even the man in the moon disappeared, somewhere in the stratosphere." I stopped when I noticed she fell asleep. I carefully got up and fluffed her pillows so she could be comfortable. I then left the room and sent Casey to go sit in the chair next to her bed. Not long after I left out I spotted Collin talking to Walter. "Wheres my daughter?" He asked Collin with a frown on his face. Collin looked at me and Walt did the same. He came towards me. "River where is my Terri?" He asked softening his glare. "Shes getting her rest. She just witnessed an accident and it caught her off guard." I inform Walt on the whereabouts of his daughter. "Oh my goodness. I should have been there for my baby girl! I'm never staying out that late every again." He said putting his head in his hand. "Walt shes fine. I just left her. No cuts, no bruises, no blood, just Terri." I walked him to a seat. Where was he anyway? What or who could have Walt out so early in the morning, not coming home to Terri? Mrs. field's out on business so shouldn't Terri be his main priority? Me and Collin went outside to the far side of the hallway and waiting for some news on Benson. Today is already a crazy day, and it's all that bitch Lucy's fault. I hate her so much, I think it's bad for my health.
