Next day----J A C E
My abdomen was gashed open to the point where you could see white bone. The blood flowed down my chest and onto the gravel but I promised her I wouldn't give up. My feet felt like a hundred pounds and my back ached severely. I could feel my heart pumping blood every second.
"You'll never get there. Besides, no one even thinks about you now. Why put the old memory back into their brains, Jace?" The voice in my head whispered. I punched my skull with my battered fists.
"STOP DOING THIS! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" I screamed and fell to my knees. The voice horsley laughed. They had the voice of someone who had been smoking for 40 years.
"I will stop once you do. She doesn't need you." It called. I gasped for air as I struggled to my feet.
"No. I will get to her. If it's the l.... Last thing I do." I forced out, short on breath. The voice laughed again trying to test my patience.
"If you insist. Goodbye- oh and please tell me how hell is, I want a full description for when I go there." The voice cackled. I coughed up blood and stared into the distance. What were they talking about.
My head began to feel very heavy. The whole earth spun like a carnival ride and my chest throbbed. I tried to fight the blinding pain, but my limbs fell slack. Blood came oozing from my mouth as red took over my vision. The last thing I heard was the sound of that horse laugh and the snap of my spine.

"She looks gorgeous!" Maryse exclaimed as Clary slowly walked down the center aisle of a church. Luke walked at her side like a father does when their child gets married.
"Oh dear." Maryse said and this time, she was looking at James. The older woman was never fond of James. She'd always feel like he was replacing Jace, her deceased son who was going to marry Clary in the first place. Also, she had seen how James treated Clary, not like a gentleman should treat a lady.
Luke passed Clary up to the altar and walked back to the first pew on the right side of the building.
"We will now begin the ceremony. If anyone objects to this marriage, state so now or forever hold your peace." The officiant stated flatly. The whole church fell silent, no one daring to object even though a few of them might want to.
"Good, we shall begin." He said, turning towards the couple at the altar.
"We are gathered here today to witness the holy matrimony that is James and Clarissa." Maryse caught Jocelyns eye and gave her a sympathetic look. They both knew James was not good for Clary.
"Clarissa, your vows please?" The officiate said. Clary smiled faintly as a dust of pink blush spread to her cheeks.
"James, you pulled me out of the darkest place I've ever been in. Even though it's only been a year, I love you." She began, but Izzy tuned her out once she noticed James fidgeting with something behind his back. Izzy's shadowhunter instincts kicked in as she went to get up.
"What the hell are you doing, ruining the wedding!" Alec quietly shouted as he grabbed her arm. She realised what she almost did and sat back down.
