"Oi! Son, what are you doing 'ere? Have you been out all night?"
I woke up to the sight of the gardener. He stood there, leaning on his shovel.
"Are you drunk, boy?"
I slowly started to get up, trying to understand what was going on. I had fallen in such a deep sleep that I was basically drunk.
"Erm... no." I answered, rubbing my neck.
"Well go on! Get out of here! I've got work to do!" He shoo'd.

I had made my way back into the castle and up to my room. As I walked through the corridor, Phillip stepped out of his chambers. I tried to walk passed him but he grabbed my arm.
"Hey-hey. Jack please." He said softly.
I jerked my arm out of his grip and just looked at him with pain in my eyes. He returned the same look. I could tell it was really getting to him that he hurt me so bad.
"Jack..."
I scoffed and just went to my room. My body ached from sleeping on the hard itchy grass last night. I had no strength to change my clothes or even get under the duvet. I just laid back and fell into a another deep slumber.
Hours later I had finally woken up due to hunger. The sun was shining right in my window so I knew it was midday, but it was getting close to sunset. I walked out of my room and made my way towards the kitchen.
Passing Phillip's room, I heard talking.
"Phillip, you must go about this the right way!" It was Isabel.
"You don't understand this is the right way! If I--"
"Shhhh! Someone's at the door!" She whispered.
Panicked, I started to walk casually away. I heard his door open behind me and looked back. He stuck his head out and saw it was me.
"Jack..." He said softly.
I ignored and him and kept walking.
"Jack!"
I practically ran down the stairs.
"Well hello Jack!" Agnes, the head cook greeted. "Almost missed you for lunch! What would you like?" She asked, cheerfully.
"What ever you have already got prepared, if you don't mind." I said sitting down at the kitchen's island where the fresh produce was.
"Well I've got lamb chops, corned beef cabbage, and freshly baked wheat bread." She leaned in for this next part. "This may be a bit naughty but I have made an apple pie as a treat for the staff, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind you having a slice."
I smiled. "Oh no Agnes, you and the staff deserve it more than I. I'll just have the lamb chops, if you please."
"Coming right up, son." She smiled.
"Agnes!" The King boomed as he barged through the doors in the happiest of tones. "I would like for you to prepare a huge feast for my son's birthday!"
