Later that night I made it back from my room. I has spent the rest of the evening with Agnes helping her prepare for the feast. She wanted it to be special (as the King had ordered) so she asked me to help choose some of Phillip's favourite dishes. We soon found out that I was useless in providing valuable information. I never paid attention to the meals Phillip most liked. We normally ate what was offered to us without complaint.

Once I realized that I was no help I excused myself from the kitchen and went up to my room. Despite the fact that I had slept most of the day, I still felt tired enough to climb into bed and begin to fall asleep.

The next morning I woke up to an unfamiliar feeling. When I lifted my head there was a letter floating over me. I shuddered at the sight of it but then realized I was in no danger. I looked around to see if it was another one of Phillip and Isabel's pranks but they were nowhere to be seen. I slowly sat up and read what was on the letter.

"Jack" was written on the front.

I grabbed the letter and examined it. Nothing bizarre happened when I touched it so I felt confident nothing was going to jump out at me or give me a shock. I opened the letter and pulled out a note.

"To my brother Jack,

Please do not disclose this note to anyone else. I am writing to you because you are the only one I trust to tell that I am leaving this castle and shall not return. I have realized that I could never lead this kingdom the way my father wants me to and there was no way that I could tell him that. Jack, I hope that you won't hate me as much as I think you will. Please understand that I am the happiest I have ever been. Isabel has shown me a world where I feel I belong. If you were in my situation, I know you would have done the same thing and I would support you no matter what. I don't know what the future holds for us but I hope one day I can return and we can live our lives together as the brothers we once were. I only wish the best for you Jack and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. Goodbye, dear brother.

Sincerely, Phillip"

I could not believe my eyes. Phillip was gone. How was his father going to react? What about his mother? He left me behind to witness the horror that will soon be this castle! What did that mean for this kingdom? There was no other heir to the throne and his coronation was in a few days!

So many thoughts ran through my mind as I thought about the future vision that hurt the most. I was never going to see him again. He was the only one I had in my life and he just left me behind for some girl he met a few months ago! And he couldn't even give me the decency of saying goodbye to my face! What was I supposed to do now?

Right then, I got an idea of where he could be. I jumped out of bed and ran straight there.

I found myself at the woods where the wizards festival was. There was no one in sight so I knew that I couldn't get passed. However through urgency I still tried. I put my hand through and nothing. I could still see it.

"PHILLIP!" I shouted. I may not have been able to see or hear them, but they could see and hear me. I let anger rush over me. "PHILLIP GET OUT HERE AND EXPLAIN TO ME WHY YOU'VE RUN OFF-- TO MY FACE!"

"Boy!" I heard behind me.

I shot around to see who it was. It was an old lady. She looked frail and deeply confused.
