{Elle's POV}

"Who is Majesto?" I asked.

"Why he is only the most powerful wizard of all time. Not to mention the very first one." Athora answered as if I should have known this already.

"Nan, she didn't come here for a history lesson." Eric interrupted.

"Why this should be of some importance to her! He is her greatest grandfather."

My eyes grew wide and I was barely able to say a word. "M-my grandfather?"

"Greatest Grandfather. Majesto the Great Wizard. The man chosen from God to rule over a kingdom with unique abilities." She explained. "You are related to him through your mother's side. And because you are the only other living person with the blood of Majesto, you are Grand Witch."

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"You are heir to rule over everything magical. Witches, wizards, you are the the 'queen' of all of them." Athora answered.

"That'd be true if there were any witches and wizards left.." Ralph mumbled.

I looked down, he was right. There wasn't anyone to rule over. I guess knowing that I was of royalty didn't phase me. There was really nothing to be excited about.

"Were you there when it happened?" I asked.

"Fortunately no. Ralph had refused to go long before that day. However Lance and Alice, Eric's parents, went every time it was held."

"Did they ever tell you the things that happened there?" I asked.

"Other than their failed plan to get magic back into Lathance, they had told us why it was forbidden in the first place." She said.

"And why was that?"

"Your father had been accused of killing the Queen-"

As she continued to explain, my eyes grew wide and I slowly looked at Harry who was invested in her explanation. I couldn't believe that my father was the reason why his mother died. I feared what he would think after this.

"-He tried to convince the king that it was not him. Through a broken heart, the king banished all magic from the land. Anyone who fought against it was arrested or killed. Your parents were exiled from the land or else they would be executed. I reckon you were born around that time because Alice had spoken of a daughter once before. Your parents then started a meeting for all witches and wizards. He wanted to clear his name and put magic back into Lathance."

"So why were they ambushed?" I asked.

"That is unknown. All we know is that we lost the two very important people that meant so much to all of us." Athora explained, starting to cry. Eric comforted her by wrapping his arm round her back, laying his head on her shoulder.

Ralph sat there glaring down at the table. "The king took away our family! Along with yours! Because he lost the bloody queen he had to take away everyone else's loved one! He's a monster who doesn't deserve the thrown! And only God knows what monster his son may come out to be!"

Harry pushed the chair back and stormed out of the room. Athora, Eric, and Ralph watched in confusion.

"Excuse me." I said, running after him.

I followed him all the way outside. "Harry!"

"How long have you known?" He asked as he shot around.

"Known what?" I asked.

"How long have you known about our parents' conflict?"

"Harry.." I pleaded.

"No Elle! Tell me what you know! You've obviously been hiding things from me!"

"Can we talk about this somewhere else?" I whispered insinuating that this was not a good place to talk about this subject. "I know where we can go.."

He followed me all the way to the room where Anita took me before. I didn't know what exactly I was going to say to him.

He walked into the room first and I followed shutting the door behind me. The fireplace was burning so there was light in this windowless room.

"What all have you been hiding from me?" He asked crossing his arms.

"You know everything that I know. There's nothing else to tell." I answered.

"Elle, Athora said that your father killed my mother! I deserve to know everything you know!"

"All the information given is just as new to me as it is to you! Everything you heard wasn't anything I already knew!"

"You knew you were a witch didn't you? And you were speaking as if you knew about both of our parents' death!"

"I just found out about all of this! I had no idea who or what I was! There are more people who know more about me than I know about myself!"

"Like who? Because I obviously don't know anything about you."

I stepped back biting my lip. I needed to figure out what I was going to say to him. I didn't know what mind set he was in and I was hoping that he wouldn't reveal anything to his father. "Before we met, Peter and I met a lady. Well another witch. She had been desperate to bring magic back. Before I met her I had no idea of my past. She helped me gain my memories back. She told me about the king and my parents. She never said why my parents died but she did say that in order to get magic back I had to... um.." I scolded myself for starting this sentence. "... Kill the king."

"You were going to kill my father!?" He slightly shouted.

"I didn't want to at first but I was blinded by my anger! Harry I went back to the day my parents died and I watched your father take the two most important people in my life. Not just them, others! People who only wanted to be accepted back into their homeland! I watched the light leave their eyes as they were stabbed brutally by your fathers men!"

There was a knock on the door. Eric popped in. "I'm sorry.. Is uh, everything okay in here?"

Harry and I kept our eyes on each other. Tears started to form in my eyes. "I never meant to keep anything from you."

"What about my mother? Your father took her away from me! How do you reckon that makes me feel?" He asked. I watched tears fall from his eyes as well.

"That's different! We don't truly know if he did it. You heard Athora she said he tried to clear his name."

"Elle this just doesn't make sense." He said exasperated.

"I'm sorry I probably didn't hear correctly but did you say your mother? You're the prince?" Eric interrupted.

Harry nodded as if in shame.

The color in Eric's face drained out of his body. He wasn't able to respond.

"Eric please, Harry isn't like his father. He wouldn't say a word about us." I said trying to bring the color back.

"Us?" Harry asked.

"Harry don't do that, you know what I meant."

"No Elle, I feel like I know nothing about you. You've been keeping some big secrets from me. I don't understand why you wouldn't tell me this before."

"Maybe because you're the prince.." Eric suggested. "And your father slaughtered almost all of our kind.."

Harry laughed in disbelief. "I thought we were more than that Elle. I poured my heart out to you and I thought you did the same. But I was so wrong." He walked passed me and Eric.

I don't know what is to come, and I've never been so scared in my life.
