{Elle's POV}

"You should've seen me Elle!" Eric laughed. "It took them at least two hours to finally get me down!"

I laughed along with him. After my magic lesson, we just sat in the grass and talked about our past. Not the grim, depressing bits, but the times we were happy and enjoying life.

"One time, Peter and I were at Arlers and a man that I had stole from the previous day was there. I used that spell... um.. the one that changes appearance?"

"Formevo." He answered.

"Right," I smiled. "Well I used that spell to avoid any conflict between the guy. Well he noticed my cloak..." I said, starting to laugh. "...and so he grabs my arm, but when he sees that it's not me, he apologises and then trys to get me drunk! When I denied his offer, he held onto me tighter. Eric, my arm became so hot that it made his skin boil!" I said in a shocked laugh.

He looked at me in disbelief then started to laugh himself. "That's insane! I don't think I've ever used that spell. But what happened after that? Did he catch you?"

"Well no, I ran and caught up with Peter. And then I met Harry. Well, not officially. I was sort of protesting..."

His laughing had died down at the sound of Harry's name. I knew it was going to be hard getting him and Harry to get along. "Elle do you know what you're doing with him?" He asked.

This conversation was going in a direction that I didn't want it to go. "What do you mean?"

"He is the prince, Elle. You can't trust him... Do you even care what he did to our parents?

"Harry did nothing to our parents! It was his father." I explained.

"Who's to say he's not just like his father? What if he is using you to get information about magic so he can report it back to the king?"

"I know he's not..." I said with an unbelieving tone.

"You sound like you're unsure. How'd you two come to meet anyway?"

"It's a long story. But Eric, if I feared that he would report anything back to his father I wouldn't have him around."

He looked down at the grass. "Elle, you're new to this. No matter whether you trust him or not, he is still the prince. His father is still the king. If a word slips that magic still exists, his father will kill us. All of us this time. My grandparents were already worried that he was mortal. But if they found out he was the prince!" He laughed in disbelief.

"Then don't tell them. Eric I don't know how to explain this, but Harry is not like his father. Trust me, I've met him. I believe when Harry becomes king, things will be different... for everyone."

He stared at me in a confused expression. "Are you in love with him?"

I looked away. I could feel his disappointment. "Elle, I have to be honest with you. It could never work between you two. Even if you weren't a witch, he is still the prince. The law would never allow that."

I laughed at the deja-vu. "I've been telling myself that this whole time. But I can't help it Eric. I reckon, because I can't have him, it makes me want him even more..."

"You can't do that to yourself... Elle you will have your heart broken if you continue this. Sooner or later he's gonna go back to his castle and his glorious, prince life. He's probably already betrothed to another princess."

"Eric..."

"It's better you hear this now, so it's not a suprise when it actually happens."

"Eric you don't know him. Harry has proven to me that he will do everything to make this work! Trust me, I once felt that same way you do. But Harry is not the way you make him out to be!" I stood up and started to walk away.

"Elle come back!" Eric shouted.

I shot my Iotam at his invisidden spell, and destroyed the dome completely.

{King Jack's POV}

"Maribeth!" I shouted from my study.

"Yes sire? She bowed, speaking outside of the room.

"Call forth Briar. I wish to have a word with him." I ordered.

She bowed again. "Yes sire."

Within moments, Briar along with two other knights bowed at the door. "You've called for me my lord."

"Yes, I have. Leave Briar and I to our buisness." I said to the other knights.

They bowed once more and disappeared into the corridor. Briar cautiously made his way into the room, closing the door behind him. "Is something troubling you, my lord?"

"As a matter of fact, yes. Briar, I fear for my son. There has been no recent sightings of him reported to me. I would li-"

"Actually my lord.." He interruppted. Normally I would have scolded him or came up with a punishment to ensure that doesn't happen again, however of this was information of my son, what I had to say, could wait. "He was sighted a few days ago.. A few village guards were chasing him, along with a maiden. They didn't realise it was-"

"A maiden? What maiden?"

"I'm not sure my lord. None of them gave me information of her."

I feared Harry could be with the maid that had been in the dungeon. I cannot have that. "Go find my son and this woman! However keep your distance! I don't want him to think I don't trust him."

"Yes sire." Briar quickly responded.

I trust Harry, but if he is with that wench, it will promise her demise.
