Today was the big and final day, Homecoming.
Everyone was excited. I think our teachers were too, it was weird. I wasn't really too focused on Homecoming. Sure I was excited to go, but I had other things on my mind.
When I went on my journey last night, I ran into that kid again. Alex. I'm not sure why he keeps popping up or why he's even out at night. It's weird because we only encounter each other at night. I didn't even get to hunt! The little bastard comes out of nowhere when I enter the woods, so I had to create a diversion.
I did, however, find out some information about him. He likes football, he's even on our football team. His favorite color's crimson red and he loves action movies. He's kind of... typical. I honestly thought he was some kind of pervert/creep. He does have that "Player" look about him.
He was nice enough to walk me home of course. By then it was around one in the morning. I'm surprised we didn't wake up the whole neighborhood.
Anyways, where was I...?
Oh yeah! Homecoming. It was tonight after our homes football game against our rivals. It's unusual to have a Homecoming on a Friday and after a football game... They moved it to Friday because of the recent attacks. I guess the school thought it was safer if we did it Friday. I don't even know how that makes any sense.

"Hey, Kate!" Alex called after I shut my locker.
"What's up, Alex?" Me and Alex have been getting a lot closer. We weren't friends. We were just close like me and Kyle are. I guess you could say... acquaintances? I don't know.
"Will you maybe, I don't know, come to our football game tonight?" He asked nervously. Why would he be nervous? It's just a game and he's the Quarterback. How strange.
"Sure, bud." I said rather bored. It wasn't a big deal anyways.
"Cool, thanks! It's 6 tonight so don't be late!" Alex said while walking backwards after his teammates.
Shaking my head, I headed to the front doors. I was going to open them, but someone already did.
I looked up to see Kyle. "Sup, bruh?" I asked him since we haven't talked for a while.
"Are you going to the game tonight?" He asked yet he wouldn't look me in the eye. He just kept staring at the ground like it was the most prettiest thing in the world. He needed some help.
"Yeah, Alex asked me too. Why?" I wonder if he's doing okay. Like not physically 'cause he looks like he could fight a shit load of people, but mentally. I wonder how he's feeling.
"Are you-" I was about to ask him when he all of a sudden interrupted me out of nowhere.
"I'll see you there, Kate. C'ya."
With that he hurried off down the street. What was the big rush anyways? Maybe he isn't okay and he has this weird disease that nobody knows about and worried nobody will like him. Maybe...Maybe it's...AIDS.
Welp. I can't help him on this one. I guess I'll get a little blue pill. Maybe that's what's wrong? I need to stop over thinking and get some help for myself.
Clearing my head, I quickly got home and laid out my Homecoming dress on my bed. After the game I'll have to hurry and get dressed.
Homecoming was going to start at 10, which is when the game ends then it'll end at midnight. It'll be like Cinderella, only with minor set backs. Like blood and shit. So it'll be way better.
