I headed to the school's parking lot where Taylor said she'd pick me up after school for training.

We've been texting each other a lot and by a lot I mean I'd texted her during my lunch. I know we just met yesterday, well officially met, but I think we'll be great friends.

I turned the corner of the school and was now by the parking lot.

"Over here!" Taylor waved at me. She was next to a small maroon car which must have been hers.

"Hey, Taylor. Nice car." I said once I arrived by her side.

"Thanks." She said and we hopped into her car. The inside smelled of strawberries.

"Do you want to grab something before we head there?" She asked and I shrugged a sure.

"What did you do all day?" I asked her curiously.

"I work at Burger King." She laughed. "You'd probably expected something else, right?" She gave me a generous smile.

"I thought you were a model or a secretary," I laughed before continuing. "There's nothing wrong with working at a fast-food restaurant."

"Oh, I'm a model back where I'm from. I just work part-time here 'cause you know. The war and they wanted the best Slayers." She said while keeping her eyes on the road.

   The war...

It totally slipped my mind. Well, not exactly because I knew why I was training everyday. But for that small moment I forgot about it. This hasn't happened since hanging out with...Kyle. Just thinking of his name made me sad.

By the end of this war, I vow to end this feud between Slayers and Vampires. We should live in peace and only kill the bad vampires. Not every one of them.

"Yum!" Taylor moaned after taking a bit of her chocolate blizzard from Dairy Queen.

We decided it was best to get something light, and by light I mean ice cream.

Taylor got the chocolate blizzard while I got the reece's one.

"You know what's good about ice cream and today?" Taylor asked.

"What?" I asked while eating my blizzard.

"We won't get fat 'cause we'll be running~" She laughed and slapped her knee.

   Well then...

"For someone in their twenties, you really do still act like a teenager." I sighed.

"Hey, how old do you think I am? I'm only 20." She wiped an imaginary tear away from her eye.

   "You're still old." I giggled.

After ten minutes we finally arrived at the Cabin and we were done with our blizzards.

"Alright guys. Listen up." Called Michael once all the Slayers gathered up. "Today we'll be doing everything from day one, but under 3 hours only."

"Three hours?!" Someone called out from the crowd.

"That's impossible! It'll take us five at the most!" Another person said.

"I know you all can do this. I might not think you can, but you can." He sighed and rubbed his temples.

For Slayers, they really doubt themselves. I thought to myself. I mean, I understand where they're coming from because are training did take a lot of time from everything we did.
