Happy Birthday

DONT PLAY THE VIDEO UNTIL I SAY SO!

Natsu's Pov:

I was walking over to Lucy's house to surprise her with a cake and balloons. It was her birthday today. Happy flew there a bit earlier to set up the decorations so all I had to do was get the cake and balloons.

I was full of happiness and joy because today was the perfect day to confess my love to her and maybe that she'll return those affections.

My heart beated out of my chest and I entered her house. Happy was finishing up the decorations and when he saw me come in he smiled and I gave him the balloons and put the cake in the fridge.

"Natsu, I thought Lucy would be here by now. I'm starting to get worried."

"I'll go look for her. She's probably around here somewhere."

"Aye Sir! Then we can party!"

I walked out and went to look for Lucy. I looked at the gluid she wasn't there. I checked by her favorite places she wasn't there either. Then I tried to think like Lucy... where would she have gone and then it hit me... The cemetery! To visit her mother and her father!

I rushed over to the cemetery and looked for her. Then a saw a blond haired angel standing by two graves. One with an angel on it the other a plain grave.

I snuck behind a small grave and watched what happened next.

"Hi, mom. Hi, dad," she sniffled "It's my 18th birthday today. I miss you guys so much." She fell on her knees and cried.

"Alot had happened since I joined the gluid Fairy Tail. There like another family to me. But all I want for my birthday is for aleast one more time that I could hug you guys and not feel so alone but I know that could never happen,"She started to sob "So then why did you leave me all alone?"

I walked over by her and hugged her tight tears welled up in my eyes "Your not alone. Your never alone. Your parents are in here," I pointed at her heart she looked up into my eyes. "And they'll always be there for as long keep them there."

"Just like Igneel right Natsu?he's in your heart."

"That's right and um happy birthday Luce."

"Thanks Natsu for making me feel better."

"No problem." I got up and I pulled her up with me.

"Cmon let's go somewhere. It is your special day."

"Okay, but wait a second."

She started taking something out of her pocket and it was a box and then she started digging a small hole in between the two graves and placed the box inside the hole and covered it again.

"Now we can go." She said dusting herself off and started walking with a smile on her face. I walked next to her and took her hand and as we walked I saw a elderly women selling flower crowns and I pulled Lucy towards the women and bought her one. I placed it on her head and complimented without regret "There now you look even more beautiful."

She turned a bright pink and replied "Thanks Natsu. It's lovely."

"You two make the cutest couple."

"Madame, we're not a couple!" We exclaimed nervously.

I pulled her away from that awkward situation and we walked towards her house. We just walked in silence and that moment there I wished that I could hear her thoughts.

"Luce?"

"Yeah?"

"I gotta talk to you about something later."
