Starry Night (Part 1)

Lucy's Pov:

It was morning in the guild hall, just a typical day.

I was super excited for tonight.

Why? You may ask. Well, tonight in every 87 years the stars are completely visible in the sky.

It was when my power was most influential, and there was a high possibility of meeting my soulmate tonight.

It was a myth told me by my mother, but I didn't believe it.

I wanted to go to a beautiful spot on a mountain to see the stars, I doubt anyone would come with me, but I wanted to start packing before it becomes too late.

I walked out and rushed to my house to pack.

Natsu's Pov:

I was finishing my talk with Master and walked out into the balcony and saw Lucy walking out of the guild in a happy mood.

I wondered what she was up to and I went to see.

I was going to go when Happy stopped me, "Natsu!"

"Oi, what's wrong Happy?"

"I hear Lucy's going on a trip to the mountains."

"Oh, why?"

"I don't know, but I do know that today is the day when all the stars are all visible and that she has a high chance of meeting her soulmate."

"Ain't going to the mountains dangerous? She could get hurt."

"She wants to see the stars, so she might as well go somewhere where she can see them all."

"Nah, I'm going with her. You know so she won't get hurt." I shrugged.

"Oh,  Are you sure that's the only reason why?"

"What?" 

"Natsu." He gave me his don't-lie-to-me-face 

"Quiet Happy. I don't want anyone else knowing then."

"Hai, but who the talk with Master go?"

"He said it was okay and that I should go for it."

"And will you?"

"Well duh." I rolled my eyes.

"Alright, well have fun on your date, Natsu." He yelled.

"Happy! I have to go. It's not a date!"

"NATSU'S GOING ON A DATE? WITH WHO?" Mira yelled.

"Crap!" I yelled and sprinted out of the guild hall. I reached Lucy's house and saw she was almost ready.

I went in through the window, "Hiya, Luce."

She groaned, "How many times do I have to tell you to use the door?"

"Too many." I chuckled.

"What's up?" 

"I hear you gonna go to the mountains to see the stars, can I come?"

"Sure." She smiled.

"Alright." 

"Go get your stuff. I'm going to go buy some tickets at the train station."

"Okay. I'll meet you there." I waved bye and was off to pack my stuff.

"Natsu, wait." She yelled, and I came back almost instantly.

"Yeah?" I responded

"I'm going to bring my tent, and it's pretty big. Do you wanna share it or-"
