Fairy Tale Part 3

Natsu's POV:

I raced to the infirmary and Lucy was sound asleep in scrubs and a bandage around her head.

I pulled a chair and sat down; I also moved her hair out of her face.

"She had a mild concussion, but I healed it up pretty quickly."

"Thanks, Wendy."

"I helped too."

"Yeah, yeah I know Romeo. Here you guys go sleep. I'll call you when she wakes up."

"Okay." They nodded and left.

I laid my head in my arms and soon fell asleep.

Lucy's POV:

Wendy made me rest for a while, but I was worried about Natsu and the knights.

I opened my eyes, and it was dark out, but the room was lit. The moonlight was visible through the windows.

I sat up, and I saw Natsu fast asleep. I smiled and tried to get up to get a water bottle but my knees bulked, and I felt an arm go around my waist.

I looked at Natsu; he looked adorable when he was sleepy.

"I didn't want to wake you."

"Nah, it's okay. I wasn't that tired anyway."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, now where we you trying to go?"

"To get a water bottle." I giggled.

"C'mon. I'll help you get it."

"Okay. " I slowly walked to where the water bottle was and grabbed it.

My knees bulked, and I wrapped my arms around Natsu's neck and his around my waist.

"Thank you," I said looking his dark eyes.

He smiled not losing eye contact, "No problem."

I looked away and tried once more to get back to the bed.

"Where are you going?" Natsu asked once more pulling me close to him.

"Back to bed." I yawned

He chuckled and picked me up in a bridal style and laid me back on the bed.

"You're heavy Lucy." He joked.

"Thanks," I said while sitting up, drinking my water.

"Lucy?"

"Yeah."

"I'm going to call Wendy and Romeo."

"No." I choked.

"What? Why?"

"It's probably like 3 am. I'm not going to wake them up."

"But-"

"No, they need they're sleeping."

"Fine." He grumbled, and I giggled softly.

Natsu looked at me weirdly.

"Good night Natsu."

"I should leave then."

"No, stay." She said softly.

I smiled and got into bed with her, and she melted into me.

"Goodnight Luce," I said kissing her on her forehead.

-Next Morning-

Natsu's POV:

 I woke up, and Lucy wasn't there.
