Frozen (Part 1)

Lucy Pov:

I was cold...

I was really cold...

No, I was freezing cold...

A freak snow storm hit all of Fiore and it wasn't called by Mother Nature.

It was caused by the most powerful ice mage of them all.

King Jack Frost...

I was in my room shivering... my whole house covered in snow. I tried lighting a fire but the boiler was frozen solid. I put of my warmest clothes and covered myself in my blanket.

I was still cold and I started to feel sleepy.

"LUCY!" I heard him yell as he bursted through my window into my house that was covered in feet of snow. He grabbed me by the waist and hugged me.

"N-Natsu?"

"Hey. You okay?"

"Yeah. I'm a bit warmer now. Thank you."

"Here grab as much good as you can and put it in a bag. If you have some extra blankets and sweaters grab those too."

"Okay. On it!"

I grabbed all my blankets and sweaters and packed them in my suitcase.  I rushed to pack food. My floor was ice cold and I tried not to slip but I did.

"Ow." I groaned.

"Luce you okay?" Natsu asked worriedly looking across the counter.

"Yeah. God dammit I hate his cold weather!"

He chuckled and helped me up, and melting the ice on the floor.

I got on my feet and looked for all the food I could bring and put it carefully in a bag.

Natsu grabbed the blankets and sweaters and I carried the food.

The weather outside was terrible.

The WORST!

I wouldn't have made it if Natsu was not there keeping my warm.

"Natsu. You should put something on. You might get sick."

"Lucy. I never get sick."

"Ok really?" How about the time you weren't at the guild and I went to look for you at your house and you looked like you were dying."

"I don't remember that?"

"You were practically unconscious."

"Really?"

"And I took care of you that whole day and I left late at night to go home and the next day you were up and jumpy again."

"Oh, I never really noticed that. I'm sorry."

"It's alright but put something on please? I really don't want you to get sick."

"Okay. As soon as we get to the guild I'll find something to put on."

"Thanks."

As we talked I didn't notice how far or close the guild was. I honestly didn't care. It was just me and Natsu talking like nothing even happened, like there was no snow, no ice, no nothing. It was a regular day even tho it wasn't. We walked faster and faster until we reached the guild.

As we arrived the guild members pulled us in.

I felt instant warmth.

"Lucy!" The guild members called and they rushed me into the bathroom to take a shower. After that they gave me a spare change of clothes. I went downstairs my hair sleek and wet and Mira gave me some warm soup.
