Recovery Pt.1

I woke up and got ready to go to the guild.

I was pretty exhausted from the jobs Natsu, Happy, and I have done.

I felt better so I could probably go on a few more and take a break.

I walked towards the guild and I entered as always and went by Mira to get some breakfast.

I ate and Natsu and Happy came by my side.

¨Hey Goodmorning Luce.¨

¨Goodmorning LUSHIE!¨

Ï shallowed my food, ¨Goodmorning guys.¨

I finished my food gave my plate to Mira.

¨Thanks Mira! It was delicious as always.¨

¨Thanks Lucy.¨

¨No problem.¨ I smiled and chatted with Natsu and Happy for a bit.

¨Hey Luce, are you okay? You look pretty tired.¨ Natsu said looking at me curiously.

¨What? No. I'm not.¨

"You're lying."

"No, I'm not!"

"Lucy!"

"What?" He looked at me like he was not buying anything I was saying. I groaned and walked to the board looking for a job.

Natsu's Pov:

Man, she is so stubborn!

But I can't help thinking that she was just adorable like that.

I cared about Lucy more than she knows and I don't want her pushing herself so I walked up behind her and picked her up.

"Happy! I'll be right back." I ran over and grabbed Lucy.

"Aye SIr!"

"N-Natsu! Put me down!" She urged but I didn't listen and when I reached her place I put her down on her bed.

She looked at me furiously.

"Rest. I can't have you pushing yourself because you'll get hurt and I can't have that."

"But-"

"No, buts."

"Fine! Get out!" She yelled.

"Luce," I pinched my nose.

"Don't Luce me. Natsu I can handle myself and I know my limits! I thought you knew that!" She clenched her jaw and I saw tears pour out her eyes.

I hurt her pride and I took her beautiful smile away.

"I know you can handle yourself, Lucy. I just don't know what I do if you got hurt. I'm sorry I made you cry." I wiped the tears away from her eyes.

"I'm sorry for being so stubborn. I didn't want to disappoint you and Happy but I'm exhausted and my scars still haven't healed."

"Scars? Luce, why didn't you go to the infirmary? Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want to worry you and I can patch my own scars."

"Okay, but promise me you'll tell next time."

"I promise."

"Now get some rest. I'll come and check on you later."

Lucy grumbled and make herself comfortable, "I hate feeling useless."

"Your never useless, and you can trust me on that.¨ With that Lucy smiled and fell asleep.

I walked out of her house and went back to the guild.
