Natsu's Pov:

I walked with Lucy down through the market on the way to the guild.

Guys kept staring at her and anger bubbled up inside me.

I been best friends with Lucy for a while now and during that time I fell for her but I haven't had the wits to tell her.

I put my arm around her and she looked at me and smiled.

"Wanna go on a job later?"

"Sure why not?"

"Natsu?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Shoot."

"Do you like Lisanna?"

"What? No. I don't." I removed my arm from her neck.

"Oh. It's that it seems she likes you."

"I knew that already."

"You did?"

"Yeah she's always had a crush on me. It was obvious."

"Oh."

"Do you like someone?"

"Yeah but I doubt he likes me back."

"Do you?"

"Yeah."

"Who?"

"Ill give you a hint she's smart, kind, caring, thoughtful, and super gorgeous."

"Levy?"

"Then who?"

"Why do you wanna know? Are you jealous?"

"Then who do you like?" We said in unison.

We thought about it for a moment then said together

We sighed.

We kept walking.

This guy comes over by her.

"Hey cutie? Can I get your number?"

"Uh well-"

I stepped in front of the guy.

"Sorry she's taken. Fuck off."

"By who?"

"By me if you wanna pick up a fight I'd be glad to."

"Well sorry." He chuckled nervously and left running.

"Coward." I spat.

Lucy looked at me shocked.

"Do you?" She said softly.

"Yeah, I do." I turned away from her and she grabbed my hand.

"I do too." She smiled and we blushed.

I kissed her and she kissed me back.

"I love you." We said in unison.

We blushed and I put my arm around her waist and pulled her close to me.

We sighed together "Finally."
