Chapter 32

A/N I'm so sorry it took so long for this chapter to come out. I was having some difficulty writing it at some points, I hope you guys can forgive me. But I'd also like to tell you that this book has almost reached its end. There is one more chapter after this before we dive into the epilogues!

Carter and I waited at the front gate, waiting for Dexter to let us in.

I crossed my arms over my chest, he was really taking his time wasn't he?

Carter snaked his arm around my waist, pulling me towards him and putting his head on top of mine, "Why are we here so early?" He asked with a yawn.

"Because Dexter claimed he couldn't sleep because of his dogs keeping him up. So, now, we're here way too early in the morning to film a video."

He nodded against my head.

My phone buzzed from my pocket and I slipped it out, seeing a text from Evan.

Evan

Mom didn't notice the pig at all, I think we're in the clear :- )

Please don't use that smiley face, it's creepy

Don't judge my taste in smileys

It's too early to deal with stupid shit,  k??

Don't use 'K', it's okay :- (

Oh my god I can't deal with your shit right now Evan

I shook my head as I slipped my phone back into my pocket, hearing the gate click open.

"Ooo, look at you two getting all cuddly" Dexter cooed as Carter let go of me and I went forward, going through the gate and past Dexter.

I rolled my eyes.

I looked behind me, seeing Carter shove his hands in his pockets and Dexter punching his shoulder playfully as he shut the gate.

I slowed down to be able to walk next to them.

"How are the pups?" I asked.

Dexter groaned, "Having a puppy is so tiring! As least Oliver behaves!" He ranted.

He grumbled on.

We eventually reached the elevator, and got in, going up to Dexter's floor. We went down the hall and got to Dexter's apartment. He quickly unlocked it as Carter brought out his phone. I walked inside, going behind Dexter as I heard Carter start speaking, "It's the vlogs' first time seeing Dexter's apartment, Lacey! It's time to vlog!" He then started talking to his phone.

I heard a couple barks, Oliver running through the apartment and coming to the door, the little puppy following behind.
It hasn't even been long and the little guy has already grown a bit.
I sat down on the ground and moved the puppy into my lap while I pet Oliver with one hand, "You have a name for this little guy yet?" I said, nodding down to the puppy in my lap.

Dexter sat down in front of me, sitting down in a cross-cross style. He scooped Oliver up and put him down into his lap, scratching his belly.

Dexter shrugged, "I decided against the whole asking fans for a name, that would take up too much time... I was thinking maybe naming him Tyler."
