I walked out of the newspaper staff meeting, as soon as Sheldon said this meeting is adjourned. I couldn’t wait to leave. I was so sick and tired of hearing Sheldon’s voice. Half way through the meeting I asked emo boy to stab me with a pencil. He chuckled and said no, because he knew I would get him for it later. I promised him I won't, I think in fact I begged him to do it. He sighed and shook his head 'no', as he turned back to Sheldon.

“Hey, wait up!” I turned around to see emo boy running towards me.

“Listen … Ummm … Are you busy after school tomorrow?” He asked in almost a shy manner.

“Depends, what are you doing after school tomorrow?”

“I was just wondering if you wanted to work on your article tomorrow? Since you're new, I can help you.” I smiled and nodded.

“Emo boy, I think that’s a bright idea. Meet me at lunch tomorrow and we can talk about what we'll do after school.” He nodded and we said our goodbyes. When I entered the school parking lot I saw Kimberly still in her car, filing away at her nail. I put on my best glare I could conjure up and got in the car. “You said you'd be right in!” I stated remembering how she said she was going to join me in the meeting, but ended up ditching me.

“What? I missed the meeting? I swear I was about to come in!” Her lie was clearly planted on her fake expression of shock. I giggled.

“Yeah right …”

“So, I looked at our history homework, and it completely made me want to take a nap.” Kimberly said as she drove the opposite way home. I knew exactly where she was going … I smiled.

“Really, well, we might just have to change that.”

Kimberly and I sat on the second floor of the mall, looking down at all the people passing below. I grabbed the sheet of 85 questions our history teacher gave us.

Did he really think we were going to complete this? All 85? Ha-ha, not me and Kimberly!

I ripped a tiny piece off of the paper and stuck it in my mouth. With my saliva I made the tiny piece of paper round and stuck it in my straw.

“Who should we throw the spit ball at first?” I asked Kimberly, who was also ready to fire at a victim. She scanned through all the people below, and sat eyes on an old woman, reading a book. I stepped back knowing she was going to shoot the old lady with her spit ball. In a matter of seconds, Kimberly and I were backing away from the railing in a fit of laughter. The old lady immediately wiped her face, and saw the spit ball that landed, dead in between her eyes. “Nice shot.” I said and we walked around the mall some more, before finding another place to find our next victim. “I haven’t shot yet, so …” I trailed off when I saw Colby and Elliot, an evil smile fell on my face.

With perfect aim, I blew the spit ball out of my straw, and it landed right on Colby’s cheek. His hand reached to his face, and he got the spit ball off his face. When he saw what it was, his eyes scanned the mall like an animal looking for it’s prey.

We would have probably gone unnoticed, if Kimberly and I weren’t laughing so hard. His eyes shot to us, and right when he looked like he was going to yell something at us, I shot another spit ball at him. It … landed … in … his … open … mouth!!!

I was laughing so hard that my sides hurt. I watched as Kimberly shot one at Colby’s friend, Elliot. His eyes too, shot up to us with a glare. I heard Elliot and Colby talk for a second before they both made a mad dash to the escalators.

“Run … We need to run.” I tried saying in between my fits of laughter. Kimberly also saw them running down below to get to the escalators. She grabbed my hand and began dragging me around, soon she ran into a store. “What the hell are we doing in a Victoria Secrets?” I asked. She and I both hated this store, because of all the girlie stuff.

“They have a door in the back that leads to another store.” She said. I nodded and we ran to the back, but before we got too far away from the front of the store, I saw Colby and Elliot enter with mad looks on their faces. I then noticed a sales lady push up her boobs and walk over to them.

“Come on,” hissed Kimberly. I snapped out of my gaze and ran with her to the door. Soon, we were in a baby store. I laughed at the fact that Victoria Secrets was right next to a baby store. “Look.” Kimberly said pointing to Elliot and Colby as they ran past the store.

“I think if we hide out here for a few minutes the coast will be clear.” She nodded and we walked around. Soon, we found ourselves sitting on the bean bags and reading each other baby stories.

I laughed at Kimberly as she flipped off a guy that didn’t turn on his blinker, as he turned right in front of her.

“You know he didn’t see you flip him off.” I stated.

“I know, I just wish people would know blinkers come free with every car.” I smiled at how right she was. When we finally got on our street I saw that Colby had his car parked at his house ... Which happen to be across from mine ... He must be home.

“They must have given up.” I said, as Kimberly pulled into my driveway.

“Must have.”

“Wanna come in for some Call of Duty?” I asked, she nodded and we got out. But as soon as we reached my porch, I knew something was up. It was silent outside … too silent. “Kimberly … do you also get the feeling-“ before I could finish, she nodded knowing what I was going to say. I tried to unlock my door as quickly as I could, but stopped when I heard a big thump from behind me. I turned and saw Colby, with a water gun at hand. Almost immediately after I noticed him, Elliot came hopping down from my porch roof.

Shit they were hiding on the roof! Why didn’t I see them?!

Elliot had a water gun too, and they were pointed straight at us.

“Why, hello girls.” Colby said. “Nice to finally see you two … Did you actually think you'd get away?” He asked. I was going to reply but Colby shot me with the water gun. I looked down at my shirt and saw … blue? “Oh my gosh! Elliot, I think we might have accidentally put dye in our water guns!” Colby acted shocked. Elliot mirrored Colby’s expression.

“Oh no, whatever are we to do?” Elliot asked. Their eyes shifted to us.

“Every man for themselves!” Kimberly ran off shouting as Colby and Elliot started shooting us with the water guns.
