Kimberly’s P.O.V

I woke up to my body feeling completely and utterly warm and blissful. Before even opening my chocolate brown eyes, I allowed a smile to twitch up on my lips.

Slowly, but surely my eyelids parted as they adjusted to the sun that seemed to beam right into my eyes.

Once I was fully awake, the sight that laid before me brought a slight shriek. “Elliot! What the hell are you doing in my bed ... No make that my house?!” I yelp at his sleeping figure.

His body turned over to lie on his back, and he gradually opened his eyes. Blinking a few times, he twisted his neck to look over at me. “It’s so early in the morning, why do you have to shout?” He asked me in a sleepy tone of voice.

I scrunched up my eyebrows in confusion, “Why do I shout? Well, MAYBE it’s because you are in my bed!”

“The couch was cold. So, I came in here,” Elliot admitted as if it was common knowledge.

I gave him a bemused look, “I never told you to sleep on the couch, mister, you fell asleep.”

“I did?” Elliot questioned as he moved over on his left side, facing me even more.

I could practically feel his body warmth spreading and cascading over me. I wiggled a little under the covers before speaking. “Well, after the third movie was over, I found you sound asleep on my couch.”

“You could have woken me up,” Elliot proclaimed.

I shrugged my shoulders, “Too little, too late,” I replied.

Suddenly, Elliot placed his hot hand on my hip, and scooted me closer to him. It was then that I was fully enveloped in his warmth and secure arms. “Kimberly, can I ask a favor?”

“I think, since I allowed you to sleep on my couch, I’m the one that should be asking for favors.”

Elliot chuckled lightly, “No, really. I have a request. I know I have asked of it before, but I can’t seem to get enough…”

Looking up, I stared into Elliot’s blue eyes, which seemed lighter today than they normally do. It was in that moment that I also noted very small black specks in his light blue eyes. I smiled for it looked so unusual and neat.

“Ummm, what is it?” I quizzed.

Elliot’s temperate breathe fell on my cold face as he spoke, “Kiss me.”

His favor made me shiver with delight and want. But, I knew that I couldn’t kiss him, at least not in my bed, for it would be a costly decision. Glancing away from his hypnotic eyes, I shook my head, “That I cannot do, Elliot.”

A sigh escaped his mouth, “And why not?” He asked.

My traitorous eyes flickered back under his heavy gaze, “Because, I don’t trust myself,” I stated with honesty.

Elliot gave off a deep, loud chuckle, “If you don’t trust yourself, then why not trust me,” he replied once he sobered up from his laughs.

I shook my head once more, “Why are you so damn persistent about kissing me?”

Moving his head closer to mine, Elliot answered me, “Because your lips taste like Cherry Coca Cola, and I have to say, it’s addicting.”

“You find my kisses addicting; yet, you want me to trust you that all we will do is kiss. Elliot, how naïve do you find me?

“I don’t find you naïve, just addictive.”

Blushing, at least twenty shades of red, I looked at my alarm clock and went wide eyed, “Oh shit, school.” With urgency I got out of the bed and ran to the bathroom, hoping to make it to school, on time, and without giving into Elliot.
