Anyways, hope you like it!

Chapter 6

****

"Bella, you need to listen to Zafrina," Alice said. She was nodded her head, and I looked around the diner to see almost everyone staring at us. The diner is like home, everyone is a big happy family here, of course they'd listen to the conversation.

"You're always studying, always working. Take some time for yourself," Zafrina suggested. I thought about it. Time for myself? "Yeah! Why don't you go out and bust a move," Senna said, as she rounded the corner.

"Put your freak on!" Elizabeth said as she rounded the corner. Everyone gave her weird looks. "Whatever it is you kids do these days," I chuckled.

They were right though, it was time I did something for myself. "You know what? You guys are right. I never do anything for myself," I set down the cloth I had in my hand.

"No you don't!"

"True"

"And I deserve some fun," I added.

"That's right!"

"Yeah,"

"I am gonna go to the dance," I finally said.

"Okay, great!"

"And I am gonna meet my true love, and I'm gonna dance all night," I finished. I'd go to the dance, and meet him. I wonder what he'd be dressed as.... dressed? Oh no. "I can't go," I realized. Everyone sighed, and stared at me. Nice way to drop a mood!

"What?" Senna said.

"I don't have a costume," I said sadly. It was quiet for a minute, until Zafrina touched my arm. "But you will. Are you coming, pixel?" She asked Alice. I couldn't help but smile. "Yes, ma'am." She said, and skipped towards the door.

We left the diner, and raced down the street to the nearest costume store. Just as we got there, the owner was changing the sign to close. "Aro, Bella need's a costume!" Zafrina pouted. Aro sighed, and fixed the sign. "No. No, Zafrina. I am closed," He pointed to the sign.

"Come on, I'll give you free breakfast for a week," She traded. I stared back and forth between them. Aro seemed to be in deep concentration, like he was thinking about it. "Make it a month," He said, and started unlocking the door.

Zafrina turned and smiled at me, winking. He let us in the store, and right away we started to go through the costumes. I was finished with a whole rack, and was on my second one. I groaned. "There's gotta be something here," I said to myself.

"There is this one?" Alice suggested, holding up a nurse costume. I went and tried it on, I came out to show them. "Perfect!" The store owner said. Zafrina had a look of disgust on her face. "No way!" She said. I sighed, and went back in to change.

A bunch of costumes were thrown over, so I started trying them on. I came out in a hola girl outfit next. "Hey, you're killing me here!" Zafrina sighed. "Aloha," Alice said. Zafrina looked towards the owner. "No, no. I got something," He said, and handed me an outfit.

I went back in to change, and noticed it was a nun costume. Really? I put it on anyways and walked out in it. The dust was getting to me, and I sneezed. "Bless you," the store owner said. I sighed.

"Zafrina, this is hopeless!" I said, a little disappointed. She was sitting at the counter now, looking at the framed box with masks and jewlery in it. Her eye seem to catch something, and she pointed at it. "Aro, let me see that mask," She demanded.

He got it out, and handed it to her. It was a plain white mask. It looked really beautiful though, little diamonds were around the edges. "I don't have an outfit that goes with that," The owner said. Zafrina stared at it. "Yeah, but I do," I looked at Alice, who was staring at me excitedly.

We were at Zafrina's house now. She was getting the outfit to go with the mask. I was sitting in her living room was Alice waiting outside in the car. "I was saving this dress for my next attempt down the aisle," She explained to me. I could only stare at her. Since when? "Long story,"

I nodded my head, and she opened the box revealing the dress. I gasped, staring at it. It was strapless, and plain. Pure white. "It's beautiful," I whispered in awe. I snapped out of it then, and sighed. "Zafrina, I can't wear that!"

I was panicking now. "Yes you can. And you will," She said, holding the box out to me. "That dress has been in that box so long, it deserves a night out," I stared at her, and then the dress. It was beautiful- too beautiful.

"Lets go," I finally said. Zafrina smiled at me. "This is going to look so good on you!"
