Lauren
"Hun." The voice called
"Hun we're here." She heard it again.
Finally opening her eyes, she closed them immediately from the day light shinning in her eyes.
"Ugh.." Lauren groans as she opens her eyes all the way to look around.
"Lily is already in the house with the boxes, right along with everything else. And I did wanted to wake you earlier, but you looked tired, so I let you slept until I got everything inside." She heard her husband spoke as he rubbed her back.
How long was I sleep? She thought to herself as she looked out the window. Staring out, she gazes upon to what's suppose to be there new house. She looks at big broad windows and dark green paint, as she stares.
"So wanna take a look inside the place?" He asked her sudden.
Looking over her shoulder at him, she gives a slight nod. She then watches him smile, as he gets out the passenger side and walks around to open the car door for her. She gives a faint smile back, as she stands and slolwy steps out the car.
She streaches, a little as she makes her way towards the big house. Step, after step she has the feeling of uncertainty, as it grows stronger, making her feel self-conscious. She then comes to a stop as she stands in front of the door not knowing when to enter. This was all frankly new to her. The move, the house, just about everything.
She then slowly places her hand on the knob of the door, as she gives it a slight twist. She then pushes the door open as she enters leaving the door wide open. As she enters, she stops in the front room and looks around. The place was awfully big she had to recommen herself as she stared, having her eyes wonder the light green paint.
The walls were indeed light green, which looked beautiful when the sun beams off of it to make it brighter. The floors looked cleaned, for they were wooden and neatly waxed. Even the ceiling lights were a sight to see as they sparkled brightly in the view. Lauren's eyes wondered everything around her as she took in the view of the house. She never expected the house to look this lovley.
"What do you think?"
She heard her husband spoke as he walked in having her gaze turn to him.
"It's...someting." She said still slighty awed by the place.
"It's something? That's all you have to say about this place? Just look at it Lauren." Dave said in a slightly disappointing tone.
She sighed and looked at it again, and this time looked at everything. She looked out at the backyard, not expecting that to be big as well. She had to admit that that would be the perfect area for Lily to run and rip.
"It's not what I was expecting, it's...it's just big. Bigger then our old home." She said looking at the floor.
"I know...but this is the only place that was close to my job. And it's not that bad, bigger is better right?" He said wrapping his arms around her waist and kissed her head.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, and layed her head on his chest.
She sighed, "Bigger is not better. And I have to admit that this house is lovley, but it still doesn't change my seconds thoughts about it. Like this looks really espensive, and how much did this place even cost?" She questioned with a serious look.
"Does that even matter at the moment?" She heard him say, and just knew he rolled his eyes at her question.
"Yes it does, and you know it." She lift her head up to look at him.
