Harry went for that jog and did everything, but clear his head. If anything everything got jumbled and essentially worse. He no longer knew how long it would take his friend to recover, he no longer knew when he would find true love, even when he did how would Leigh fit into the picture? It wasn't possible, not with her living with him. He no longer knew what he wanted to do in general and he felt as if he was failing at everything he attempted to do.

Leigh-Ann woke up in hopes he would be right there, but he wasn't. She felt nothing but empty, but that was usual. Except Harry usually filled that void that no one else had the power or desire to do. She stared at the glass around her, taking in what she could of each of the skyscrapers: businesses, little shops, and other apartment buildings as well. Everything was lovely especially at this time, when the sun first came up. Everything was pure and raw in this very moment. Leigh-Ann rose from the sofa and gulped before walking up to the glass and pressing her finger tips along it, watching the glass fog slightly. She used to be afraid of heights when she was younger; she was afraid of a lot of things: getting her heart broken, getting in trouble for things she was only curious about, being alone, and so much more. Eventually those things didn't scare her as much and then they didn't scare her at all. They became normal; part of her routine, something she was beyond accustomed to. As she stared out into the city she noticed it was starting to wake up. People were going to go to work or to school. They might stay in their bed with their significant other simply lounging or doing whatever they pleased, it didn't matter. The world was going to at bliss and ease, that's what her mental kept reminding her and she wanted nothing more than get with the program, but she simply couldn't. She had tired so many times and each time was a failure. A horrible one at that. Removing her figure from the glass she began to stumble back. Slipping off her bottoms she allowed her oversized shirt to engulf her, her fluffy socks began to cause friction as she stared at the balcony. Tightening her jaw she began to walk towards it. Fall had been here and if anything, winter was eagerly waiting to take over.

Leigh-Ann opened the balcony door and stepped out. The harsh morning wind greeted her, slashing her face, arms, and legs in the process. Leigh-Ann began to shiver, but she only walked further onto the balcony, savoring the view of the city before tears began to roll down her cheeks with ease.
