Santiago was being a pain and I'm sure she knew that as I mumbled a scratchy phrase at her and shut my door. Throwing my wet clothes onto the floor, I slipped out of my Klein briefs and scrambled through a small underwear and sock drawer Santiago claimed to be mine. Instead of Klein, I opted for Hilfiger. After slipping them on I shut the drawer and stalked over to the small bed before sighing. I was freezing, but I didn't care. I was too lazy, too absent to even get under the covers. I stared at the ceiling deadpan. I missed her. Everything thing about her. Every inch, every ounce. We weren't perfect at all, but we definitely weren't horrible. In fact, as cheesy as it sounds, I thought we were goals. Yet, at the same time she was too precious for me. Too pure, too raw, too perfect, too me. She complimented me in ways no other female had. I missed it, yet I decided to forget it, all of it. It's not that serious.

I stared at the ceiling more, analyzing its oddly vivid designs. I shouldn't even be here. I should be at home. My home. My home was no different than Santiago's except for the loud noises weren't alike at all. She had children yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs in front of the buildings, adults bickering for unknown reasons, and annoying tiring screeching or car hunks, birds- the most annoying creatures- chirping for no damn reason, and essentially chaos. My home was filled with vulnerable screams that echoed from the walls of silence, filled with a few friends from time to time- the ones that only came over to roll something up as we watched a game or even played one. It was simply different. My house could be loud and roaring with whatever it chose to roar with, but it stopped; I was in control of it. Santiago's house wasn't like that at all. She had no control over it, but to her, having no control over situations that weren't in her hands to begin with left her at ease.

My teeth began to chatter and I hadn't realized it at all. I should've taken the coffee Santiago offered, but she was being aggy. I wasn't in the mood.

Swan was a cool cat. At least when he wanted to be. Currently, he was irking my last nerve and honestly, I didn't think I had anymore that could be irked at this rate. He had pushed open my door with ease and stalked his slender body into my room. I didn't check to see; my eyes were glued to the weird designs in the ceiling and I was clearly aware that it was him as nails lightly scratched the wooden floorboards. The simple fact that he was in my room, laying on my bed, on my sheets, kind of set me off. Santiago came up a few moments later with a fur blanket in her hands. She actually looked adorable, as the fur blanket engulfed her small temple. Swan popped his head up slyly before simply blinking and then nuzzling his head back into the comforters.

"You're so stubborn, you know that?" Santiago asked as she unfolded the blanket and placed it on top on me. I didn't make any sudden eye contact with her, but my body eagerly reacted to the sudden warmth that was placed onto me.

"Yeah." I stated dryly, pulling the blanket closer to me.

"You could've gotten under the comforter, Justin."

"Yeah, I know." I stated as dry as before, my eyes still glued to the ceiling. Swan found his way closer to me which caused me to slightly groan. He simply meowed as his marbled eyes burned into me.

"Swan, come here." Santiago tried. He simply stared at her. At least that's what I got from peeking out of the corner of my eye. Santiago sighed and reached over to pick him up. He meowed in her arms.

"Your butt is wet, Justin."

"Nah." I stated, since I had changed out of my previous briefs. She sighed before placing a kiss onto Swan's head and then sat him down before she stared at me.

"Do you need anything?" She questioned.

"Nah." She simply stared at me. I could tell she was becoming frustrated, but I didn't care. I just needed to be left alone.

"Can you please just put something on. At least drink some coffee or tea." She tried. My eyes finally drifted away from the ceiling after an eye roll. I stared at her deadpan for a moment before licking my lips. Putting something on would've been smart, but like she said, I was stubborn. Her telling me what to do, made me not want to do it, so I wasn't going to. I began to fiddle with the tag on the blanket before chirping, "Nah."

Santiago sucked in her cheeks and I could tell I pushed her last button, she nodded slowly before turning on her heels and heading out of the room, the door slamming in the process after Swan followed her out. I wasn't the only one who needed to put on clothes anyways. I rolled my eyes before groaning and running a hand through my soaked locks before I closed my eyes.

Whatever.
