What I loved about touring, is I get week breaks. I just landed home here in Los Angeles. It's been 3 months since I've seen Jacquelyn, and it's been the longest 3 months I've experienced.

I called her everyday, hoping one day she would answer. I was never lucky, until today. "Hello?" A woman answered. "Jacquelyn?" I asked. "Yes?" "It's Bruno. How are you? Where are you? I want to see you." I asked excitedly. "No, I don't want you to visit me. I'm getting my life together. I hope the tour is going well." "Why can't I see you..." Jacquelyn interrupted, "I have to go."

Jacquelyn thought I was going to give up. I called every rehab center here in the county, all of them didn't have any records of Jacquelyn. I hit the last number in the yellow pages, and called the number. "Thank you for calling the Pasadena Rehabilitation Center, how may I help you?" "Yes, do you have a Jacquelyn L in your facility?" "Yes we do." "Thank you so much!" I hung the phone up and immediately left the house.

"Hi I'm here to see Jacquelyn L." I say to the lady at the reception desk. She pointed to the spacious room to my left. I walked in quietly with a bouquet of flowers in my hands.

"Hello." I say to her. She appeared frightened, shocked. "How did you find me?" She asked. "That doesn't matter. I brought these for you." I handed her the flowers. "Thanks." "Give me a hug girl." She stood up slowly and wrapped her arms around me. Her hug wasn't as strong as it used to be. I felt a vibe that she was sick, but she didn't appear ill.

"How are you?" "I'm fine. Why are you here? I don't need your fiancée coming after me." "She's very protective, but I wouldn't let that happen. I wanted to see how you were doing, and I had a lot on my mind since you left China." I said.

She crossed her legs, "Bruno I don't ever want to talk about that again. You don't need to be hanging around females like me. I have nothing going for myself. Just go back home to her. Okay? So just leave me alone." She turned her head away from me.

"But I can't leave you alone. Because the last three months, you and only you were on my mind Jackie." I said. "Now I just know you're lying." She stood up and gave me back the flowers. "I'm tired of being used, and I'm not going to let anyone do it to me again." She walked away, but I pulled her back.

She appeared uncomfortable and unable to accept what I was telling her. "Jacquelyn. You don't need to be here. You're not crazy." I said. "Well obviously I do Bruno. I don't feel like myself, I feel...so empty, so...so lonely. When I'm here, I feel the same but I know they will help me." She smiled although her eyes were tearing up.

"I want to be your company Jackie, let me help you!" "Bruno, I don't want to drag your career down, I don't want to affect your work, music, shows, your mariage, or anything. You do you."

"I've seen you at your good points. It's time to see you at your worst. I will be your supporter, since no one believed in you." I say.

"But my counselor is my only supporter, because she is the only I can trust." She turned around, and say back down. "This is not the life I chose, but I have to steer it in the right direction. I am my own biggest critic. I got that from you."  Jacquelyn said. "Those nights when the affair was fresh, I knew at some point you didn't love me. I just...I just didn't want to accept it. I have now, and I'm ready to move on. Maybe you should too. You told me that yourself." She stroked my face. "Go on." She whispered. "Live and enjoy paradise while you can. You deserve it." She squeezed my hand, and left to another room.
