Chapter 3 - New Friends

I sat on the table having lunch with my whole family including the two idiots. Every time I looked at them, I glared. If looks could throw arrows, they'd be dead by now. They caught me glaring at them, I quickly gave them an innocent smile and went back to eating. There was alot of talk on the table, my parents were on their phones talking business, my brothers were talking to the idiots about some video games, my sisters were talking to each other, Claire was inquiring Emily about charming princes'.

As soon as I was done eating, I walked back to my room and saw neatly folded paper on the desk. I unfolded the paper and in the same handwriting as in the letter I found in my locker, the following was written,

'Don't try to find out who I'm, it won't be easy'

I scoffed and turned around to find the two most annoying people on earth, "what's that?" Jayden asked. I gave them an innocent smile, "nothing" I said, trying to sound as casual as possible. They didn't push, instead they just said, "fine" grumpily.

The rest of the day was just a drag. At night, I watched netflix with some popcorn like what I usually every Saturday night.

Sunday was the same boredom.

Today was the day my biology teacher, Ms. Sparks picked to give a surprise test. Wow. I mean for one, it's Monday, the first day in the week when there's school. Two, a biology surprise test, oh come on. I sat where I usually sit, glaring at Ms. Sparks as she distributed the paper to the whole class.

I looked at the biology paper kept on the table and for once, my mind wasn't blank on every answer. I did the first page then continued on to the second and so on.

When I was done with the paper, I looked up and saw half of the class had handed over their paper and left. I stood up and walked over to the teachers desk with my paper. I was about to place the paper with others when I saw someone elses paper with same handwriting as the ones I got in the letter.

I was about to read the name, but my paper was grabbed from my hand and placed with the others by Ms. Sparks, who assumed I was checking if my answers are similar to the others. I wasn't able to read the whole name, only the first letter, I.

I left class with a stunned look on my face. I bumped into someone and fell. I looked up and saw a familiar face, the toll truck guy. He offered me his hand, I took it and stood up. His hand was cold, sending chills down my spine.

"Sorry" Both of us said at the same time. I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Thank you" I said and started to walk past him, when something made me stop. I looked behind at what it was and saw that my bracelet was stuck to his bag.

I looked up at him and he looked at me. I tried to untangled my bracelet from his bag as soon as possible, but couldn't. He touched my hand, making me stop and look up at him, he moved my hand away and undid the tangle himself. I blinked and looked at him "Thank you" I said again.

I was walking away when I heard a female voice, "wait" she said. I turned back around and looked at whoever it was. A girl with drak brown hair dressed in pink shirt, white jeans and pink heels, walked towards me and I could see the toll truck guy facepalm.

"Hello" she greeted me, "I'm Jeremina. And since I can see that you are Isaacs friend, you are my friend too." I almost scoffed at the part where she said I was his friend, plus I did just find out his name, Isaac.

"it's nice to meet you, I'm Celestina" I said, "I think you got it wrong, I'm not-" I was stopped by Isaac talking to Jeremina, "don't you think we were about to head for the caféteria?" He asked, his lack of talking still didn't make me used to his cold voice which again sent shivers down my spine.

Jeremina crossed her arms over her chest, "don't you think we were waiting for Chase?" she asked, mocking his tone which made me want to laugh, but I pursued my lips and looked away. I looked back at her, "you were saying" she looked at me with a pleasent smile.

"Nothing" I shrugged my shoulders. "Join us for lunch?" A guy who I assumed to be Chase said from behind Jeremina.

"Why not" I said with a smile.
