She's back to work, Christmas break doesn't stay long for working people. And even if she owns the company, she's never exempted to this rule. But New Year was coming and she had a day till she could prepare for it.

It's not like she had plans.

It was early in the morning, people were brisk walking on their way to work. Bea was humming to the tone of 'Say You Won't Let Go'.

"I knew I loved you then, but you'd never know.." She turned her steering wheel clockwise as she continued to sing. "Cause I played it cool when I was scared of letting go."

She planned to do a stop for coffee, Ria wasn't  as good as Jhoana for making one. Speaking of Jhoana, she hasn't seen her since their dinner date, if you could call it that. It's not like she tried to look for her though, she knew the girl wouldn't like that. She promised not to and she's keeping that promise for sure.

Going back to when she went home that night, she had a breath of relief. Everything felt lighter for her. It felt like rocks were lifted off her shoulders and her lungs felt emptier. She felt free. She felt happy.

Laying down on her bed she wonders if its the Jhoana magic. Its her power where things end up easier than it usually should if she had done it with someone else. She suddenly remembered about the get away she asked Jhoana about and she kept smiling while getting herself busy for the whole night.

She parked her car outside Starbucks. Grabbed her wallet and walked right in. It was a long line even if it was too early for most people to wake up. But watching people feel giddy over the red cups, she didn't dwell on the thought too much. She just went to her email on her phone and responded to the most of them.

"I wake you up with some breakfast in bed. I'll bring you coffee with a kiss on your head." She continued murmuring the lyrics.

It took a few minuted before it was almost her turn, she just have to wait for the person in front of her who was wearing a hoodie to finish ordering. She took time to look around and felt her eyes widen upon the sign of her.

"One hot Caramelized Honey Latte to go please."

"What size po ma'am?"

"Grande-"

"Make that two. I'll pay for this beautiful lady's coffee too."

Bea butted in and when the girl in front of her looked back, she smiled and whispered 'hi'. She handed the girl behind the counter her money before standing beside Jhoana.

"I'm offended by myself for not recognizing you when I went in. I mean really, your hair, your scent. The skin beneath that thick cloth, how could I even miss?"

Jhoana laughs and shakes her head before dragging Bea to the side to wait for their drinks.

"I'm offended by how you took that bill away from me."

"Well, you gotta admit. It was smooth as hell."

"I've heard better." She paused and saw a confused face plastered on Bea. "Don't even ask from who, kasi ako na yung ma-ooffend kung hindi mo maisip na ikaw pa rin yun. Anyway, why are you here?"

"I wanted coffee, no one makes good coffee in the office. Not as good as yours."

"Bola."

They both smiled and took their coffee on the counter after their names were called. Walking out of the store, Bea persisted of driving Jho to her working place.

"No."

"O c'mon. I won't visit you naman like an idiot all the time."

"No, hindi pwede. Besides, you are an idiot and I won't risk having you visiting me."
