Bea didn't leave her side that night. She checked on Jho's condition every time she's sure it was asleep and even at times she was caught, she would only apologize and give in to the request of sleeping again. But Bea didn't sleep, she couldn't sleep because she was worried Jho was feeling bad and was just pretending otherwise.

Jho knew Bea's acts. That even if she pulls her to bed beside her and lock its arms into her embrace, bea wasn't sleeping for a minute. She felt bad though, she didn't want to disturb the latter in such a way. She doesn't want Bea worrying and skipping sleep just to make sure she was fine. But then, Bea is one hard-headed girl.

Needless to say, Jho does appreciates everything Bea is doing for her. And she's driven to pay her back in any way.

As she closes her eyes, she dreams of Bea sitting on a rocking chair drinking coffee she just made. And she sits beside her, carressing the latter's white hair affectionately.

Jhoana's unconscious self smiles of the idea of growing old with Bea.

"Your temperature is fine na, do you think you need to drink another one just to make sure?"

Bea asks like a clueless kid. Clueless but full of concern and Jho smiles as she takes the medicine off Bea's hands and taking it in with the help of water. She knows that even if she's doing fine since she woke up, Bea wouldn't stop worrying until she drinks the paracetamol.

Jho couldn't even ignore the eyebags Bea acquired for not sleeping last night.

"You could sleep, Bei. I'll cook for breakfast while you're at it."

"How about a no? I'll cook. Baka mabinat ka."

Once again, Bea denied her act to pay back. She swears if Bea didn't like a puppy right now, she could've gone mad. She was definitely fine, better, not so sick so to say but Bea was just overthinking and overreacting in the process.

She sighs in defeat and held Bea's hand.

"Fine. Transfer tayo sa living room. Hindi pa naman ako gutom, perhaps we'll have breakfast later?"

"Pero-"

"I can walk, Bei."

Jho stops her from wrapping its hands on her waist like an a girl who just lost the ability to control her lower body. Bea was needed to be reminded that Jho just had a fever and not in a car crash.

The two spent a few hours sitting on the couch, watching TV since the power was back. Rain has stopped too, but the news reports was all about floods in the city. Cancelled office hours of companies were flashed in the screen and one of it was the De Leon's. The two decided to go home in the afternoon, that is if Jho would be a hundred percent healed.

As Jho's tummy grumbles in hunger, she looks at Bea to prepare for dinner. But she saw a tall girl silently snoring herself to sleep and Jho couldn't deny how cute she looks like. She took a bed sheet to cover Bea on the cold weather, the latter must be too tired to not even feel her doing so. And before leaving her alone to cook some for breakfast, Jho finds herself kissing the latter's forehead. She was partly surprised of what she did and later on convinced herself that it was an act of gratitude to her good nurse.

Jho was back at being jolly and Bea was convinced she has fully recovered. Jho was starting to laugh at her jokes again or just at her as they recall their day yesterday.

"You're a slow poke in running."

"Daya! You have long legs, lugi ako."

Jho would defend herself from they play tag yesterday in the rain and Bea would end up getting spanked in the arm for trying to tickle her good patient.
