Chapter 18

She grumpily went out of her room, following the scent of fried rice into the kitchen. She held into her head and wondered how much did she drink to suffer this much early in the morning. She sat on the seat of the counter top and saw Bea smiling at her. For some reason, she can't really remember why she feels irritated towards Bea.

"Sino tong kausap ko? Baby Jho or grumpy jho?"

"May hangover na Jho."

She replied annoyed and leaned into the counter, resting her head on her palms. She saw Bea smiling and rubbed her hair. If her head wasn't throbbing so much, she could've rolled her eyes on Bea.

"Here's your medicine, it would help."

Jho took the medicine off Bea's hand and drank it with the help of water. After she placed the glass of water aside, Bea leaned in closer to her. Having their faces only a few inches apart.

"Ano?"

"Good morning, sungit."

"Good morning din. Lumayo ka nga. Magluto ka na ulit."

"Sus, sungit sungit."

"Lumayo nga sabi eh."

Jho kept pushing Bea by her shoulders but the taller girl won't budge.

"Ayoko nga."

"Bea naman eh!"

"Sige na nga, magluluto na ulit ako pero..."

"Ano?"

"Kiss muna."

Bea pouted innocently but Jho had a that's-so-raven look for a flashback. She instantly remembers why she's mad at Bea.

"Doon ka humingi sa kahalikan mo kagabi!"

"What? Sinong kahalikan- oh.."

"Maliligo na ko.."

"No no no. Not yet, usap muna tayo."

Bea grabbed Jho by her waist before she could move further. Forcing the grumpy girl to look at her. Bea is amused of how Jho is acting right now, too amused to not stop herself from smiling.

"You look so annoying-"

"So, nakipaghalikan ako kagabi?"

She asks. Cutting jho off her sentence.

"Bakit mo tinatanong sa akin? Hindi ba't dapat alam mo yan?"

"I'm asking you because I wan't to know kung paano mo nasabi na nakipaghalikan ako kagabi."

"Ayaw kong pag-usapan, Bei."

She pushed Bea's shoulders away from her but the taller one only wrapped her hands around Jho's waist. Making them closer than before.

"Wala kang nakita no?"

"I don't have to see it to know it. At ayaw kong makita ang kaharutan niyo. Taking each other's clothes and all."

"Well, that explains everything."

Bea chuckled and tilting her head to the right. Making her look adorable to Jhoana's eyes. She tries to focus more on her point than to be distracted with Bea's sweet gestures.

"What is with that dorky grin? Hindi tayo bati."

"Kaya ka naglasing? Kasi nagseselos ka? Yie. Kilig much."

Bea laughs once again. She keeps teasing Jhoana as the other rolls her eyes and tries to push Bea away from her.

"KUNG HINDI MO KO BIBITAWAN, HAHAMBALUSIN KITA!"
