Bea took her time admiring Therese's physique before she could negatively react to how her early she was on her visit. How her striped black and white dress dangles a few inches above her knees, and the smile plastered on her face that could make butterflies appear in your stomach. And how her shoes perfectly fit on her feet making her look like a confident beauty queen.

For a moment, Bea was reminded of how beautiful Therese could be.

But as her eyes continues to scan, she saw a paper bag in the latter's hand. Instantly, she was taken back by the sweet scent of french toast occupying the dead air in her office.

"I was calling you during the weekend but for some reason, I couldn't contact you." She played with her heels, a mannerism she does when she's either shy or nervous and the way Bea looks at her curiously wasn't helping her at all. "I thought about visiting your condo but, well, decided otherwise."

"I was out of town, Trey." she whispers only enough to be heard as she walks closer to her table.

"Well, good thing I didn't." She chuckles awkwardly and shook her head to wake herself up. Bea decided to ignore her actions.

So much of a confident beauty queen huh..

"Yeah. The rain wouldn't do you well, too." Bea tilts her head and looks at the paperbag which reminded Trey of why she was here.

"Oh, I brought some breakfast. French toast, favorite mo 'to diba? Or well used to."

And a flash of Jho's simple scrambled eggs passed her brain and how she loves it more than anything. "Still a favorite." Bea nodded.

"Great! So I hope you haven't eaten breakfast yet, since you're very early naman for work today."

And another memory of Jhoana and her waking up as the sun rises to prepare for breakfast flashed before her eyes. How it has became a routine for the two makes her heart flutter in happiness. "There's always a space for a french toast."

She held the chair behind Therese as she sat down and she settled on her chair across the girl. With documents surrounding the two, Therese takes out to tupperwares of french toast. And Bea felt a relief for saying yes for some because obviously, the latter was the one who wasn't able to eat breakfast. And the thought of disappointing her would drive Bea crazy for the day.

They quietly ate Therese's french toast as Bea tries not to put malice on ther latter's action. Perhaps, she just didn't have anyone to eat it with at home since her parents are quite busy, that's the way Bea remembers them.

Her tummy was about to explode by the time she took her last bite and Therese looks pleased more than she should. She cleaned up the empy tupperwares and placed it inside the paperbag again. Walking side by side, she thinks of how many burpees she would probably do in her private office to burn everything she ate just this morning. She opened the door for the latter.

"Thank you for the breakfast, Trey."

"No worries. I have to go, see you well, soon."

Bea nods and leaned in to kiss Trey's cheeks and bid her farewell. Where upon closing the door, she brushed off the thought that somehow, she caught Trey blush.

An hour later, Ria knocks on her door and entered because she didn't bother to respond only to be found sleeping like a baby on the couch.

...

A day later, She was from a meeting with a client and Trey appeared once again in her office late in the afternoon. She did a mental note to tell Ria to inform her if anyone tries to access her private office while she was away and perhaps restrict them from entering. May it be her Mom, or even Trey herself.
