After their trip, Jhoana has been back to her old workaholic self again. Sometimes, her good boss would ask her about Bea that she would often answer him with 'I don't know'. Not that she was lying, it was just that she really didn't know how Bea was or to where she is.

And even if she misses Bea, she was glad that Bea kept her word and didn't visit her for no reason at all. They agreed to see each other only for emergency situations. And so far, they were fine.

She was fine. She has been doing so well like she used to. The vacation has given her so much energy and well, inspiration to do her best. She has been doing business meetings with important people. Businessmen even her own boss never imagined doing business with.

"Oh Jhoana. You have been a blessing to my office."

Her boss started before giving her a news for promotion. Ofcourse he cleared out that it wasn't because of Jho knowing Bea personally but because Jhoana was the most hardworking person he met. Jho celebrated the promotion with her coworkers. She ordered pizza for all of them.

She wanted to call Bea that night, to tell her the big news but talked herself out of it. Seeing Bea again was such a tempting idea but she doesn't like the idea of having to say goodbye again.

A week passed and things didn't change. She went out one night to grab some ice cream since she has been craving for it for days now.

She heard the bell above the door ring as she swung it open. She went straight to the ice cream display counter and took her time only to settle for a scoop of a mint chocolate chip ice cream. She took her order and grabbed a seat at the table in the corner of the store where she could see everything and by everything it means all the people who would enter the store.

She wanted Bea to show up like the way movies go. Though she really didn't gave it a full hope.

She was on her third spoonful when the bell started to ring again which made her up. Two strangers went it and ordered on the counter. The two were giggling loudly and it made Jho miss Bea so much more.

She was two scoops away from emptying her cup when the bell rang again as the door swung open widely. Jho again looks up and with so much surprise, her face lighted up with glee.

"Rex!!!"

She waved her hand up high to catch her dear friend's attention. The store was small that everyone heard her shout and making Rex's eyes sparkle in happiness too.

"Oh my God! Give me a hug!"

This time Jho stood up and spread her arms to engulf Rex into a hug. He was still stunned with the sudden reunion. He felt so happy and he wanted to say a lot of things but it was like he lost his tongue near the door.  It took him a few seconds in the hug for everything to settle in into his mind.

He hugged Jho a little tighter and a little longer than planned.

"Na miss kita.."

He whispered making Jho chuckle and nod.

"So did I, Rex."

Rex ordered a cup of ice cream each for the both of them. And they spent the night catching up. Jhoana waited for him to open up but it almost seemed like he was not planning to do so. Not until...

"I saw you."

Rex smiled while he was staring into his cup.

"What? Where?"

"We saw you. You know what I mean, Jho."

This time Rex stared at her. She felt herself blush at the idea of getting caught.
