CHRISTMAS SPECIAL CHAPTER
Tie me in ribbons and put me away
Know that I'll always be yours
Bells will ring on a fool's holiday
Wrap me up like a present
and put me away
And when it gets cold
Save
I'll be yours
Let the bells ring on a fool's holiday
Alex
(Christmas Eve)
I woke up the first thing in the morning when the alarm sounded, jumping out of bed rather enthusiastically. This was the first Christmas that Jack and I was going to spend together, and I wouldn't want to miss this for the hell of it. We wanted to set up our Christmas tree the first thing in the morning of Christmas. I literally skipped towards the bathroom, showering as quickly as I could before I put on my Christmas sweater and a pair of jeans. I stood in front of the mirror, fixing my hair slightly before hurrying downstairs.
Jack was already lounging on the sofa, watching Home Alone. I chuckled and crept behind him before wrapping an arms around him and planting a kiss on his cheek. He glanced up and noticed me, grinning as well. I removed my hands and he got on the sofa, kneeling down on the fabric as he pressed his lips against mine lightly before pulling away. I smiled, looking over to the empty tree that stood near the entrance before back into his beautiful brown orbs.
"Ready to set up the tree?" I asked and he nodded cheerfully.
"Hell fucking yeah," he said, punching his fist up in the air and clambering out of the sofa through the back. I laughed and stifled a yawn, grabbing the remote control on the armrest of the sofa and turning off the TV. Even though I was really excited about everything, I did wake up at 9am. That was pretty early, in my books, despite the fact that I wake up at 7am literally every god damned morning for school. I watched fondly as Jack ran to get the ornaments and came back with a shitload of decorations, including the tinsel and lights, and a Weeping Angel that was to be placed at the top of the tree.
"God damnit, Jack. You're gonna get us killed with that angel there," I said jokingly.
He let out a laugh before winking, "Don't blink!"
We went to sit near the tree, pouring the contents out of their boxes and started dressing up the naked tree. Jack and I started off with the lights first, twirling it round the tree followed by the golden/yellow tinsel. Once we were done, we headed off to the smaller decorations.
We had a bunch of Pokemon baubles, those common snowflake ones and miniature versions of them. Then we had the other irregularly-shaped ornaments, like snowflakes and snowmen, gift boxes and a bunch of others. As I was busy putting a guitar decoration onto one of the branches, Jack stood up with a certain ornament in his hands and placed it above me before he sat back down again with a mischievous grin.
"Hey, Alex. You know the rules," he said. I tilted my head confusedly before looking up, noticing a mistletoe. Oh you sneaky little fuck.
I stuck out my bottom lip in a childish pout, "Aww noooo, I have to kiss you now," I said, pretending to be completely devastated by the fact before the two of us burst out laughing.
Once we calmed ourselves down, I gazed into Jack's astonishing brown eyes, and his into my seemingly ordinary brown ones. Jack, with a smirk, pushed me down and pinned me onto the floor before he crashed his lips onto mine. I kissed him back passionately, my eyes closing shut before suddenly he pulled away. I let out a whimper of protest, causing a low chuckle to emit from his mouth as he moved away from me. "Thought you didn't enjoy it, hm?"
