Anya P.O.V
I woke up after my dream with blurry vision. I then realized that I must have hit my head to hard. That plus not having water in almost 3 days couldn't be helping me at al. I tried blinking a few times to clear up my vision but it didn't help much. I closed my eyes again and sighed loudly. I could hear a grunt from across the room but I pretended like I could not notice it.
"Anya are you there?" I heard Yinlel's voice in my head. It instantly made me smile. My dream last night gave me a bit of hope. I wish I could actually tell him to keep looking for the moonstones and not me. "Anya, why won't you answer me anymore?! Are you alright??" He asked again. ANYMORE?! I have NEVER been able to mind speak why was he suddenly convinced I could. "Anya please tell me are you hurt?! Did they hurt you again?! I know you told me not to find you yet but I know I have to. I cannot do this without you; I can't stand thinking you're getting hurt. Please Anya answer me. Are you hurt again?" He thought to me.
Wait, did he say he heard me tell him to go on without me? He heard that?! It was not just a dream?? Could I mind speak?! I concentrated like I had a thousand times in attempts to mind speak. I thought my words and imagined them projecting to him. "Yinlel, Can you hear me?" I thought to him. I prayed he could actually hear me. "ANYA!!" He sounded relived. HE COULD HEAR ME!! I COULD MIND SPEAK!!! I began to smile more. "I'm fine for now, they haven't messed with me yet since I woke." I thought trying to hide the pain in my voice. In truth my leg was worse than before and I had a massive ache in my head in addition to being starving and thirsty. "You do not sound fine. Are you sure? I am looking for you now." He thought to me.
That immediately sparked my worry. "No! Don't come find me. Find the moonstones; we need them to save the tribe." I said suppressing the pain in my voice as much as possible to show him I would be fine. Suddenly I felt something slam into my side and knock the air out of me. My eyes flew open. I saw Joey standing over me. "WAKE UP!" He yelled. I winced and tried to catch my breath. "What was that!?" Yinlel thought to me his voice overflowing with concern. I winced and thought back, "nothing... I...am fine. Just ... uh... slipped" He made a sound like he did not believe me. "I'm coming looking for you. Now." Yinlel thought to me. "NO!! YINLEL I AM FINE!! DO NOT FIND ME. GET THE MOONSTONES FIRST!" I thought loudly but I do not think he was listening anymore. Tears started to appear in my eyes and I could hear Joey chuckle and walk out of the room.
Part of me wanted him to come find me and save me, make me feel safe again. The other part the stronger part wanted him to forget about me and save the tribe then maybe come back for me, if I was still alive.

"NO!! YINLEL I AM FINE!! DO NOT FIND ME. GET THE MOONSTONES FIRST!" She thought to me loudly, I just ignored her and kept on walking. I hadn't slept at all last night. In fact I had only rested for about ten minutes. I didn't sleep much the night before that either but every time I hear her soft, beautiful, gentle voice I gained more motivation. Hearing the sound of pain and fear in her voice just proved that she was my main priority now, not some silly moonstones. I chuckled a bit knowing that she would kill me if she heard me say that.
I had no clue where to look for her but I just closed my eyes and focused.
Just concentrate on her.
I am trying but I can't unless you shut your mouth!
Sorry just trying to help
Well you are doing a horrible job. Be quiet.
Sorry.
I went back to focusing. I suddenly felt the need to turn to the west. I followed my instinct and went west. Next I needed to turn north. So I turned north. I kept on following where the pull took me. It was almost as if I could sense something new about her the closer I got. Soon I could feel her hunger. Next I felt her thirst and then a dull pain began to appear in my leg. I clenched my fists and kept walking angrily.
I kept going until I was just outside town. There were fewer houses now and they were spread apart more. I walked until I made it to a normal looking earth house. It was large but looked empty other than one light on upstairs and a small light coming from a half window down in the basement. I went to the window and laid on my stomach and looked through. What I saw was enough to make me want to punch the window but I needed as much surprise on my side as possible. I could see Anya tired to the ground. She was laying on a large blood stain and her head was bleeding. I clenched my jaw and kept watching. Her leg was crudely wrapped in old bloody and dirty bandages. It was twisted off to the side of her body in an unnatural and painful looking way. There was a heavy set man standing over her barking angry words at her. She was looking away from him and had tears in her eyes. I could hear Yelix crying from somewhere in the house.
Suddenly I hear a scream, her scream. My attention napped back to her and saw her curling inward like she had been hit or kicked in the chest. I instantly wanted to kill the man standing over her hurting her. I stood and walked to the back of the house. There was a door there . I walked up to it and tried to open it but it wouldn't budge. I closed my eyes a focused and my instinct told me to look up. I looked up and saw an open window. I smiled and looked around on the ground. There was a large broken tree branch behind me. PERFECT! I moved the branch over to me with my mind. Then I stood on top of it. I imagined the branch moving up to the window with me on top of it. I floated upward and looked into the window. The room was empty so I slid in and then dropped the branch noiselessly.
I looked around the room. It was a bedroom of some kind. The "bed" was much larger and softer looking then what we had at home. I walked to the door and opened it up and peeked down the hall. No one was there. I snuck down the hall and went downstairs. I heard some voices and Yelix crying in a room next to me. I would come back for him later when maybe there would not anyone there. I snuck down to the basement. The door was closed and locked. I could hear another scream from Anya and the man laugh. I wanted to break the door right down... Should I sneak in or not? I heard another scream and I acted on instinct.
I tried to open the door but it to was locked. I grabbed it and used my magic to freeze it. After it was frozen I slammed my hand down on it and it broke off. I ignored the throbbing pain in my hand and barged in. The man spun around and looked at me glaring. "YOU! What are you doing here!?" He yelled. Anya looked at me weakly. "Yinlel no!" she whispered. I looked at her "Anya do not worry." I assured her. She shook her head. "Yinlel no!" she repeated. I was confused.

I screamed when he kicked me already broken rib. I looked up when I heard the door knob snap. Yinlel charge in and Joey yelled at him. "YOU! What are you doing here!?" He yelled. I looked up at him worried. "Yinlel no!" I whispered. He looked at me and smiled warmly. "Anya do not worry." He assured me. I shook my head despite the pain and my eyes widened. Joey had a hammer in his hand. He walked up to Yinlel. Yinlel was too busy looking at me to notice, " Yinlel no!" I cried. Joey lowered the hammer quickly at Yinlel's head.
