2 days after, a girl named Eun-Ji joined us. She seemed friendly. She also told us that she was an old friend of Hoshi and joined us to surprise him. This time, Jessie was sent to introduce her to them. I had been dragged along so I could get used to being around the boys. Jessie knocked the door. While she was busy talking to one of the members, I made my attempt to sneak away. However, Eun-Ji quickly got ahold of my hand. I looked at her pleadingly. She shook her head.
"Sorry, I can't let you sneak off like that, especially on my first day. Ji-Hae gave me strict orders to make sure you do not escape. You need to have the courage to face the boys if you want to be their stylist," she explained to me.
I huffed and stood beside Eun-Ji who had a grip on my hand. The door was opened ajar and I was pulled in.
"Hi! I'm Eun-Ji, your new stylist!" she introduced herself with confidence.
It was something I could never do. Not long after she introduced herself, a blonde-haired boy spoke up.
"Eun-Ji... I think I used to have a friend from middle school with the same name," he pondered out loud.
"You're Kwon Soonyoung, right?" Eun-Ji confirmed.
The boy nodded his head and a reunion scene played out where they started shouting jokes and references to each other. They hugged each other briefly before catching up with each other. Eventually, the group dispersed to do their own things.
I looked to my left to see Jessie had disappeared. I started to panic and scanned the room for her. She was nowhere in sight. Why did she leave me here all alone to fend for myself? I started to tremble, stuck in an awkward situation. Maybe I should just leave the room. Just turn around and walk out the door-
"Woah there, princess. Where are you headed to?" a boy slid in front of me, blocking my path to the door.
"I don't know," I muttered, having a hard time maintaining eye contact.
The boy suggested he accompanied me while Eun-Ji talked to the blonde-haired boy, known as Hoshi. I nodded since I had no idea where to go.
"I'm Jun in case you forgot. Of course, you wouldn't. I'm unforgettable. Why don't you tell me more about yourself?" he initiated a conversation.
I was slightly flustered but pushed myself to talk. I found out he was from China, together with another member named Minghao. He often teased me and I was unsure how to react so I just lightly laughed it off or gave a blank face.
"Aigoo, you're so cute~" he cooed.
He reached his hands out to my cheeks and pinched them for a brief second before they were slapped away.
"Don't touch her so carelessly. You heard Ji-Hae. She's fragile," another member interfered.
I believed his name was Minghao. They had a small argument in Chinese for a few minutes until they realised me staring at them. They apologised for fighting in front of me.
"Yeah, sorry. We shouldn't be fighting in front of an innocent, pretty lady like you," Jun smiled sheepishly.
"Ok, that's it," Minghao said before covering Jun's mouth and dragging him away.
He forced Jun into a room attached to the practice room. I heard some thumping and the slamming of the door before Minghao emerged from the room. He smiled. I was worried if anything bad had happened
"W-what happened to him?" I stammered.
He picked up on my fear and came closer, laughing. He reassured me that it was nothing to be worried about.
