Third-Person POV

The two wrestled for control over the phone. Jun held the device high up in the air while Minghao clawed at it.

"NO! YOU'RE NOT TELLING HER! You like her too! If you tell her, she'll like me more than you. Don't you ever think?" Minghao protested.

Jun paused upon being hit by the realisation and it gave Minghao the opportunity to snatch the phone away, keeping it safe with him. He was safe from being discovered. Then, there was a short silence that was broken by the performance leader who was making a call.

"Oh hey, Hee-young. Just to clarify, it was Minghao who sent you the flowers. He did not want to let you know. He's a shy person. Take care, ok? Goodbye," Hoshi shortly spoke.

The room fell completely silent. Hoshi placed the phone on the table. He barely got a second to breathe before Minghao lunged towards him. Minghao then realised he was lunging at THE performance leader so he abandoned his intended action and only stood in front of him. He balled his fists, keeping them by his sides. He glared at him, clenching his teeth. Nonetheless, Hoshi was calm, not showing any signs of fear.

"This is why you won't ever get a girlfriend. You aren't even honest with your feelings. It's better to just tell her. Also, I was just kidding. I didn't really call Hee-young. Why would I even have her number in the first place?" Hoshi told him.

He cracked a smile. Minghao realised his stupidity and facepalmed. The rest of the room had a good laugh. Minghao got influenced by the contagious laughter and he laughed along. Deep inside, he heaved a sigh of relief.

He handed the phone back to Jun and warned him not to tell Hee-young. He nodded.

"Your secret's safe with me," Jun comforted him.

"It won't be a secret anytime soon. I think I'll go tell her tomorrow morning before practice. Hoshi-hyung, is it ok if I'm a little late for practice? I'll make up for it. I promise," Minghao announced.

The performance leader nodded with a smile.

"A hot cup of latte and treat me sushi for lunch and I'll let you off," he mentioned.

After Minghao had the approval, Hoshi announced the end of their break and called in the rest of the members.

Hee-Young's POV

I woke up in the morning to the sound of someone shuffling in the room. It was coming from the window. I lifted my eyelids halfway to see it was only the nurse pulling the blinds to let the morning sun rays in. She turned around and noticed me half-awake.

"Good morning! I'll come by in a few minutes to help you get cleaned up and changed, ok?" her voice flowed gently, slowly waking me up.

I nodded and she exited the room.

About an hour later, I was sitting comfortably in bed in a new set of clothes feeling refreshed. My casted leg rested on a pillow. I watched whatever was on the television while eating breakfast to the best of my ability with my left hand.

I barely ate half of my breakfast when the I heard a brief knock on the door before it creaked open. I assumed my grandmother was the one entering the room Boy, was I in for a shock.

"Good morning halmeoni- what are you doing here?" I was taken aback.

At the door stood the last person I would want to see. No way that was really him. Minghao. I felt tears starting to build up but I forced them in and kept a strong front. He entered the room and came nearer step by step. Was I hallucinating? Have I gone mad? He sat down and gazed at me. I think I must have been crazy. I missed him too much I even started to project images of him.
