"FREEDOMMMMMM!!!"

I could hear my limbs scream as the casts came off at last. Yes, 2 weeks had passed. I smiled from ear to ear as I looked at my freed limbs. However, my freed limbs felt weak after being held up in casts for many weeks. I turned and dangled my legs, looking at my free leg. My foot felt much lighter without the heavy, bulky cast. Perhaps, I was not as weak as I felt. I am a strong girl.

I held the edge of the bed and slowly lowered myself down. I barely stood for a second before I fell. Thankfully, Minghao caught me in time. Yes, Minghao found some time to accompany me to the doctor. He insisted since my grandmother was not well. He held me up as I limped over to the wheelchair.

"It will take some time but you need to take frequent walks in order for your leg to regain its strength," the doctor advised me.

I nodded.

-

"I promise I'm fine. I have my crutch right here in case I really can't walk," I argued while I gently brushed the blusher on his cheeks.

"Fine, just promise me you will stay here. Don't go walking around, finding more things to do. Just stay doing the makeup until you are FULLY RECOVERED. Once you are done, sit down. If you put excessive force on your leg and arm, they may get worse. Promise?" he nagged on.

"Ok ok, I promise. I, Hee-young, promise to keep to the makeup station and not put excessive force on my recovering limbs," I promised.

He smiled. flip. Yeah, I will never get used to that. His smile is just so... so... I just could not describe it accurately but I guess it brought me to enlightenment. The sun's rays are nothing compared to his bright smile. He is hot too.

"Ok, give me the palette. I need to switch it with-"

"I'll get it for you. Which one?" he interrupted me and placed the blusher palette back.

He held the palette for me so I would strain my right arm less. I did not really get why as I used that same arm to apply makeup. The palette was not even that heavy.

I pointed out the palette I wanted anyways since I had no time to argue. He cautiously picked it out from the dozens of other palettes and I carried on.

Not long later, I was done and he thanked me for the makeup as always. I thanked him back for holding the extremely light palette for me.

"It's nothing. Am I not here to care for you?" he replied.

I had a warm fuzzy feeling within me and all I could do was smile like an idiot. He unconsciously leaned forward to kiss me out of habit but I gave him a look to remind him where we were. He straightened his back in flash and apologised. He gave a little wave and scurried away, hoping no one saw.

I continued to do the remaining members' makeup. Once that was done, I looked around to see what else I could do. Then I remembered what Minghao told me. I searched areas nearby me instead. Crystal came by to return some brushes and palettes.

"Hey, um Crystal. Is there anything I can do? Something not very strenuous of course," I asked her.

"Perhaps you should sit down and rest. Wouldn't want to worry your boyfriend now, would you?" she replied with a smug look on her face.

"He isn't my boyfriend, ok! We're just friends," I grumbled, lying yet again.

I crossed my arm and shot her a short glare. She giggled and dropped the case. I was relieved that she did bought it.

In the end, I found myself barely doing anything. The next productive thing I did was to straighten out and touch up the boys' appearance before going up on stage.
